miscellaneous ramblings from this BOB'er...

I am still vacillating about MNSSHP after the cruise. Pete does not want to do it - and his reasons are valid:

1. He thinks we'll be too tired to do it after a 7 day vacation
2. He doesn't think it will be "enough"...meaning he wants to take Thomas to WDW for his first trip when we can go and spend several days and "do it right". (You gotta love his logic here!)
3. It is an extra expense (ticket+hotel+food+transportation) and we're probably pushing the budget on this trip already.

Heather also had a good point about the parks being busy on a Saturday...

Any more advice?

I have to agree much with your Husband. For Us Staying a day after would have not been a big deal, but Laura wanted a bit of decompression after the cruise. We do plan to do MNSSHP just before the cruise. It turns out to be cheaper to fly from CA a couple of days before the cruise so we have a day to kill. My plans will be Kennedy space Center then MNSSHP on the Friday before the cruise. Although I may change my Mind altogether and go to Universal Studios Orlando for the day.

I just got in from clearing the driveway as it is raining pretty steadily now. I wanted to get my driveway clear before it freezes back over again when the sun goes down. Then this stuff turns to concrete!

Remind me not to complain about the cold California weather on this Thread!

What is the nearest big city to you? I have never heard of your town. I am a geography geek! LOL

I'm just a hair south of Modesto, CA which is about 90 miles south of Sacramento. Best known/notorious for being the hometown of Gary Condit.

So your weather probably isn' too bad then. It's probably pretty decent by CA standards.

Here are a few hat pics Heather :rotfl2:

He's wearing his sunglasses as a hat on this one:

Wow Hoo...more please.:cheer2:

I saw some "not so little kids" in their jammies too. :)

On our first cruise, we saw a fellow Canadian DISer in his boxers with red hearts all over them :scared:  :crazy2: :lmao: And he wasn't a kid either ;)

You bet! Frank got some 'attention' from the ladies and Six Bits Slocum offered to 'make my dreams come true'!

Wow...you made it girl!

Yes, it was extra, but I don't remember how much. It is only offered to concierge guests, twice a day (10 & 1) and they take a max of 14 people per tour. One of the real animal handlers conducts the tour, so they give you a lot of 'secret' information. The bus is smaller and actually pulls over in a few places so you can get pictures without bouncing. At the end of the tour, they give you an anytime Fast Pass for the regular safari and a Disney Conservation Hero button.

Looks like there are some great benefits for Consierge guests.

What a good sport he is. :thumbsup2 Chuck gave me a few funny looks when I was posing Plankton around the ship too. He even ran down to the cabin to pick him up for his date with the ladies at Rockin Bar D one night. :grouphug:

This is the closest that I got to Rick posing with Algae.
