10/24/2009 Bash On the Boat (I'm with B.O.B.) - Thread #17

Yep, I'm taking a year off this Halloween. That's nothing, In 2011 we may be cruising again but I'm wanting to go during the Christmas season. Laura was shocked... She said "What about Chrismas Tree Lane?" I replied, I'll do something basic and foolproof and take the year off. I'm not sure she liked the idea.

Yep. Unfortunately with our states lack of an economy and the fact that my school district is looking at taking 24 million out of the budget because of that economy (and the Govenor hitting education first before anything else) so I am looking at either a paycut or even possibly losing my job this year. So we decided better be safe than sorry. Scary times here at MUSD.

Thanks Steve, I missed a couple of workouts this week and wasn't sure how if the scale was going to be nice to me or not. I felt much better once I got off the scale this morning!!!

My flight from ATL to MCO leaves at 2:50, so I'm catching up on my DISing while I wait.

Yeah, I know the feeling. My corporations stock is down to $1.16 yesterday. They are cutting everything to the bone. I would have thought of cancelling our cruise except that I've got it nearly completely paid off at this time.

Well, Tink & I made it to Orlando!!! We are checked into the Hyatt Regency International Airport and we have a very LARGE room. Right now, we are trying to decide what to have for dinner - Tink really wants a Mickey Bar but I told her that will have to wait until we get to WDW tomorrow. Now she is pouting. Oh well!

Tomorrow we storm the Contemporary! To Infinity and the Top of the Contemporary!!! (oh yeah, and back to the airport to pick up Frank!)

Beautiful and brings back good memories for us! We were so ready to take a nap when we got there!!! They do have nice large rooms and comfortable beds.

Hello everyone...

Just stopping by to say thank you to everyone for the prayers, wishes and pixiedust

We had my dad's funeral this morning. It was a lovely ceremony, short, sweet and filled with love and memories. Monday morning is a private burial for just his 5 kids and 8 grandkids with his last rights, etc.

It's been a crazy-busy week and I am about to crawl into bed and just have some me time.

Had a blast with Kira and Dani this morning and gave Cass her hug and a laugh.
