So, you leave your crock pot on while you're at work?

For some reason, I can't get used to this idea. I'm not really sure what I'm afraid of, since the inside of the cooker is ceramic and I put it on my Corian cutting board, which is on top of my Corian counter (I do this when I use it on the weekends).

Maybe I need more crock potters to weigh in on this issue . Does everyone leave their crock pots on when they're not at home?

I leave mine on during the day. That is the only way my family gets a hot meal.

OK, so Nancy, Tommy and I can go have a nice cup of tea at the Royal Anandapur Tea Company while you guys ride. (Who knows - maybe I'll be able to ride by them ).

B/T/W I think Frank booked a later flight on Sat., so he will probably come back to the World with me for a little while.

That is great!!!! I knew he could not stand you going with out him. If I remember right he has several people that owe him drinks.

AS we speak Joanne its -10 degrees at Clayton Lake up north where you guys use to be it's -42 THATS COLD.

We do coasters and have not done EE. I think we will have to do that on October.

We leave ours on while at work, while sleeping, anytime - love coming to home to supper already done! My oven has a delay feature too. I can put my dinner in and tell it what temperature and how long to cook - it starts itself and even adds the preheating time if I want it to do so.

we'll take it. it was -6 last nite. high of 5 today. another cold one tonite too.
talked to my mom in florida. she said "its cold here too. lows in the 30's"
that sounds good right now.

Hazel was talking with my mom today as well, my mom said the same thing, in the 30's overnight in her area of Florida. Still, that's better than the 9* we had overnight.

sweeeeeet, I have to admit that one feature on my oven I have not tried..lol

I heard on the news earlier that 47 of the 48 mainland states had temps at 32* or lower overnight. Not too warm in most of the country by the looks of it......

I first poured water on the milk to thin the milk out, then poured ice melt over the milk and water. Whatever is left in the street is probably frozen now.
