Well folks - day 2 is classed as a success
I got to my 8000 - just! - I got my mini trampoline out and bounced and jogged on that for a while inbetween running Ellis to his very first Cubs and back
My heads still pounding

but at least my pedometer is happy
I just wanted to tell you all about Ellis' new cubs leader. She has been absolutely brilliant about his allergy. Yesterday she came down to Beavers to see me and discuss how she could help, she's organised for me to train everyone to use the epipen in their meeting end of Jan and she's given every parent tonight at cubs a letter explaining in detail about Ellis. She even made "Be nut aware" posters and displayed them tonight. Tonight she's going home with my medical pack - trainer epipens dvd and an epipen manual and folder to read. What a pleasant change and a total relief that for once someone cares enough to put themselves out to help. She deserves a medal (I'll actually get her flowers - I 'm sure she'll appreciate them.) Usually its a different story

and we're made to feel awful or at least a nuisance, but today was a real treat.
Its good to know there are still people out there who care.

A big thumbs up to her
