Yup, 8pm is her bed time and she hasn't asked for her pacifier since she went into a big bed :woohoo:

I guess she just needs time to get back on track again :goodvibes

Just be patient and Kira will be just fine. It takes time for them to adjust. This is advice from an old gramma who thinks she knows everything. Di

Hi there, Heather. I am home doing laundry. A boring day, really. I went to the gym this morning, and we had a rough night last night. Emily is home from school with a bad stomach bug. She is much better now, but last night she was 'nauseaous and beyond' every hour on the hour:sick: .

Hope Emily is feeling better. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: Diane

They are soooo cute!

Well folks - day 2 is classed as a success:thumbsup2

I got to my 8000 - just! - I got my mini trampoline out and bounced and jogged on that for a while inbetween running Ellis to his very first Cubs and back:rolleyes:

My heads still pounding:headache: but at least my pedometer is happy:rotfl:

I just wanted to tell you all about Ellis' new cubs leader. She has been absolutely brilliant about his allergy. Yesterday she came down to Beavers to see me and discuss how she could help, she's organised for me to train everyone to use the epipen in their meeting end of Jan and she's given every parent tonight at cubs a letter explaining in detail about Ellis. She even made "Be nut aware" posters and displayed them tonight. Tonight she's going home with my medical pack - trainer epipens dvd and an epipen manual and folder to read. What a pleasant change and a total relief that for once someone cares enough to put themselves out to help. She deserves a medal (I'll actually get her flowers - I 'm sure she'll appreciate them.) Usually its a different story:sad2: and we're made to feel awful or at least a nuisance, but today was a real treat.
Its good to know there are still people out there who care.:goodvibes A big thumbs up to her:goodvibes

She sounds wonderful! Not many out there like her.

So Kira went from doing really well in her new bed to getting up ALL the time :rolleyes1

She's not falling asleep until about 9:30-10:00pm (she keeps getting her books and toys and turning the light on  ) and then this morning I got up at 7 to workout and her light was on and she was wide awake playing :scared: She NEVER wakes up before 8.

Any tips for me???? :confused3

She's really cranky :rotfl:

Be consistant. Whatever you decide to do just keep doing it. If you put her to bed at 8 dont waiver from that even though she is not going to sleep. Turn off her big light and let her have a night light on. Don't let her turn the big light on. keep turning it off. In the mornings........:confused3 My kids have always been early risers until recently. Harrison will now sleep til around 8. Julia still gets up but usually just turns on the tv until we get up.

Ditto that here. How Scott can sleep through that and me cleaning the carpet at 1:30 am is beyond me!!!! Julia still comes to me when she is going to get sick instead of heading straight for the bathroom. So I normally have to clean the carpet beside the bed when she is sick. She feels much better this evening.

Walt, congrats to you!!!!

Di, have a great trip.:thumbsup2 Stay safe and warm.

Been very busy tonight, there was no time to DIS!!! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Good Morning everyone.

What happened to everyone last night...this threat was so quiet.

This morning is grey and cold with quiet a lot of fog about. The temps are due to rise tomorrow, but for the time being its pretty cold.

Well, I could try for my own page?

How many posts is that?

Just starting to think about the tours for our Russia cruise in May.

We're gonna stick to sightseeing tours at each port...but they are quite expensive.

We managed to book our excursion at Tallin, Estonia last night. That was about $45 each person.

We also found out that RCCL have a murder mystery evening in one of their speciality restaurants. They charge an extra $50 for that and we're mulling it over.

We'e booked our St Petersburg tours already. We're doing a two day tour with a company called Denrus. We don't have to worry about visa's as they sort that out for you.
