Slow night on the thread, looks like everyone turned in early last night.........

Even as a teacher, my job is not totally secure - especially at a private school. Although parents want to provide well for their children, that is something they will drop when money gets tight. Hang in there, everyone!

Thats the one area that is ok over here too - teachers - we have a shortage. The trouble is the job has changed a LOT over the last few years - So much paperwork these days that most of the teachers have a half day off each week to catch up on it.

I totally understand that, Karen - the paperwork in public schools here is amazing. Our school is starting to offer some special services, and with it comes an increase in paperwork. We have 2 planning periods a day as it is. I do love my students though - most of the time anyway - it is the paperwork that rives me crazy.

Just checking in quick - I'm on the computer to see if DS's school is cancelled for the day and also to see how COLD it is....so far he still has school and it feels like -1 outside with the windchill.

I was going to tell Kathy not to fall for that, but it appears the Dawg is being Bamboozled. Now, a little part of me feels a little sorry for Dawg since he did call for a truce, but.....those puppy pics from Mimi and Kathy were just too too funny. Well done ladies.

It's cold here as well. It was 11 when I woke up. I started the car early so that when I take the kids to the bus stop, it should be nice and toasty.

After that I will be heading to the gym. I need to get myself into shape!
