Hello to all of you I know and those I don't. As Kathy wrote previously, I don't always have the time to keep up with you all, but I will try to. You still probably won't find me posting all that much (you can see from my post count), but I will keep track as best as I can.
We are having another "dusting" here in southwestern CT. It's been snowing every few days lately. I am sure we won't catch up with the really North people, but it is a much snowier winter so far that we have had in a long time.
As Kathy wrote, we will be at the World at this time next week. Around this time we will be getting ready to go to the Hoop-de-doo Review. I haven't seen it in a long time, so I am looking forward to it!
That's all for now! :wave2:

HI Frank and Nancy says HI to.
We were so glad to hear you were joining us on the cruise.
It wouldn't be the same without you.
That sweet sister of yours ( KATHY) did a good job keeping it a secret.
Now remember this year please keep track of your Konk Koller. We don't to see them float away and sink at CC:lmao::lmao::lmao:.
Have a great day Frank

Have a great time, we expect pictures. Be careful inthat snowy weather. It was 31 here this morning. You better bring long pants with you next week.

Yes, Heather, it is a National Holiday - no mail and the banks are closed. Not every company gives their employees off, but MINE DOES!!! :yay:

I don't know how much work we are going to get done tomorrow - it's Inauguration Day! Our cafeteria has big flat panel TVs and I'm sure we're all going to be sneaking down there to watch the festivities party:

No so lucky here- had to work both jobs. Not one person into H & R last night.

At least I get to stay home and watch history being made today, that's as long as I don't fall asleep before the inauguration :mic: begins.

:cake: :bday: party: Rick!!! party: :bday: :cake:

I have a tv in my office at work. I think I'll have a lot of guests in there today myself. :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Happy Birthday Rick!!!! :earsboy:

I would be in there with you. Of course they have asked that we not watch it over the internet because it will slow down the system so I guess I will watch the reruns. :sad2:

Good morning all! Have a happy and warm day!

Kathy - Thanks for the recipe. For a piece as described with icing, I get the upper end of 5 points. Is that what you get Nancy?

Off to work - we're sitting the kids in front of the big screens for the President's taking of the Oath of Office! I don't think we get to sit there for the parade though.

I actually get more like 3.5 for 1/12 of the cake. I'll do the math again! There's another one out there with fewer points but I don't have it handy.

I've booked the Radisson and the rental car, so far. Holding off on the flights for now (although Frank already has his!). I have to wait until March 31st to book AKV for the night we get back.

I have made the reservations for the Radisson the night before and AKV for two nights after the cruise. We are driving so we will not need flights. I would rather fly but we need the space coming back with all of the treasures I plan on buying. :lmao: I have a small suit case that I am throwing things into as I get them.

That makes for a long night. Enjoy those nights now because this time next month you will be swamped. :upsidedow I just bought my tax program. One of my CPE courses was the change in tax laws in the fall which was very interesting. I am looking forward to seeing what will change this year.

We're going to work on the car rental this week and probably book CBR for the night after the cruise. We're still up in the air about Thursday night's accomodations because we are waiting to see when our flight comes in before deciding to do mnsshp that night.

We also don't know for sure who among us is actually cruising. We have to make plans for 2, 4, and 6 people. I think Kristin and Jesse will decide at the last minute if they are coming or not. :rolleyes2

We have booked the Radisson for the 23rd, have booked nights at SSR for before and after but plan to change those to something else at the 7 month mark, don't need a car, and haven't done flights because we're waiting for Jet Blue to open up for Oct. so maybe we can get a direct flight out of Portland. After that I'll book Magical Express.

At least I get to stay home and watch history being made today, that's as long as I don't fall asleep before the inauguration :mic: begins.

Could it be youplanned for the water heater to break down?!!!!!

Have a great day off! :cheer2:

Thanks! Wish it was for a better reason!

Could it be you planned for the water heater to break down?!!!!!

Oh no, not much fun going to get a shower and finding there is no hot water........:cold: :cold: :cold:

Looks like Lina won't be getting a shower before she leaves for her babysitting job either, especially since she has to leave within the hour.

I think when we call at the 7 month mark we will be staying at OKW and when we return from the cruise we will be staying at AKL as like some of you are

PS HI KATHY and LEISHA and Andy

Just received an e-mail from Marina (my nephew Charlie's mom), she didn't make it to Washington, DC with her unit as her clearance didn't come through in time when her unit left for DC. In one way I guess it was best because Charlie came down with a 104* fever over the weekend.

Good morning everyone...

I am sitting at work doing a few things, but have streaming video going on the computer of the news coverage. I am going to watch the inauguration with one of the elderly men from the church who hasn't been able to get out for a bit and is very lonely. Over the summer we both talked politics a lot and I gave him my copy of The Audacity of Hope to read. I will head over to his house in about a half hour.

We have made reservations for just the Radission for the 23rd. I have to make sure we don't get transferred this summer, so I won't book airfare until June at the earliest. I don't want to make ressies out of Hartford, if we get transferred to Ohio! :lmao: Once I book flights, I will get the car as well. We will probably also book our MNSSHP hotel ressies soon :hourglass as the CM at Central Reservations told me that they fill up quick, especially on Halloween Night.
