Never been to Hoop dee do? Where is it and what is it?

Well just our luck Wednesday Nancy and I are headed for Boston from Portland on the Amtrack to see a Celtics Game and wouldn't you know we are going to have a Snow Storm. Weatherman say's we could get as much as a foot.
Down in Boston they are due to get more.
Come hell or high water we will still go.

Never been to Hoop dee do? Where is it and what is it?

We are not country music fans or country-western dressers, but we love Hoop-Dee-Doo. It is in a barn of sorts and is a meal served family style while a musical revue type entertainment show progresses. Many times members of the audience are part of the show. Washboards are distributed and played in a rousing singing number. Napkins are waved as well. 3-legged pots of baked beans are slung onto your table, strawberry shortcake is plopped in front of you - it is just an evening of good, clean, entertaining fun!

You would have got a kick out of me running around outside with my laptop trying to find wireless. It's hard to see the screen when you are out in the sun. I hate to complain but it was hot in the sun with a lap top on my lap!

Welcome Lisa! Congratulations on your pending nuptials! I am cruising with my husband, Mack. Kids are in college, so it's just us. We cruised DCL this past fall to celebrate being empty nesters - it was our first DCL cruise. We love the line!!!! We are spoiled now and don't know if we could go back to the other lines we have cruised. Glad to have you aboard!

Karen: I noticed the 5 minute wait for SW too. We made Jesse go on it when he visited WDW for the first time in 2006. Kristin hates SM and we have video of her facial expressions. She was none too happy that we made her go again.

We first went on Small World as children (me very small child) at the NY World's Fair, so it is a great memory for us.

Kathy - I love the pictures... all of them!!!! You and Frank look SO happy!!! Have a magical time!!!!

We are having a FABULOUS time!!! That's why we look happy.
