Thanks Fingers crossed. He's been there since leaving school - 22 years I think it is. Lets hope he gets to 23 ... if he doesnt the cruise is out of the question.

I just ordered DirecTV for us. I have been meaning to upgrade my cable, but Comcast wants too much. For less than I am paying for 60 channels now, I am getting 200 channels, plus DVR and Showtime for a year for free.

Ok I did sooo well with avoiding buying a wii cause we have 4 different systems sitting collecting dust... this is not helping me Karen!!..lol

Wii's are so much fun. My kids are playing Ravving Rabbids right now. Last night we were all playing Rock Band.

I've been thinking about doing this. Comcast just raised my bill $10 a month. I have Verizon for phone and DSL and since they are not offering FioS in my area yet, they will bundle DirecTV instead.

How long will it take for them to do the installation?

Happy Saturday.

This weekend is free, although I do have to get all my gear together for flower arranging on Wednesday. Boy, was it cold today. We had some snow but a very hard frost. The common looked lovely this morning all black and white.

We'll expect some pictures Heather.

Guess what Mike? The computer is being unpacked...looks like we might get another port done of the video. One step closer.

yeah, cinnamon got her harley stuck in the snowbank so i helped her dig it out. then she invited me in for some hot chocolate.

we're in the process of transfering all our old vhs home movies to dvd.
its a major undertaking as we have boxes of movies of the kids.

Tony did this for me for Christmas one year. All 42 VHS tapes of family video now on DVD!

My parents had the old family 8MM movies transferred to DVD as a Christmas present for us a few years ago. They are pretty funny!

Noooooooo! Although, I'm worried about the same thing Karen. I've been holding my breath since we ran our year end reports (I'm getting dizzy too ) to see if our company is making a little cash. Enough to keep me around anyway.

Kristin came over last night and played Wii with Chuck. She scored 215 on her second try at basketball free throws! She beat Chuck in everything they played last night but she couldn't beat me in Trivia.

I called today and they are installing on Friday. The website says between 2 and 4 hours to install.

Yes! We had so much fun watching them together. I had no idea Frank was so hyper when he was little - at one point he's riding his tricycle in a circle at about 100 miles an hour! The Christmas movies are the best though. My parents used to wait until we went to bed to put up the tree! So, when we got up in the morning, not only did we have presents, but that was the first time we saw the tree!
