Happy Birthday Jeff!!:cake: party: :bday:

Happy Birthday Chuck!!:cake: party: :bday:

I thought it was kind of cruddy too. What the heck were they thinking? But I guess with the hope that the person who is sent home continues on the straight and narrow in the hopes their partner stays for 4 more weeks, they still have a chance to win the show and more importantly, become healthy. I'm wondering if the show is at least offering those who were sent home a fitness trainer of their own???

I didn't like it at first either but it's actually a good idea. They show them what they are capable of...man some of those people lost 30+ pounds!!!!!!!!! :scared1: ...and then they send them home knowing that they can really do this...and then they only come back if their partner is still there, so it gives them BOTH huge incentive to work hard!!! :thumbsup2

Plus, I am sure that if any one of those kicked off people showed up at a 24 hour fitness gym, the trainers would be lining up to train them for free ::yes::

Good morning all,

Well I spent a good portion learning windows movie maker (prepping for the after cruise movies). I am using my trip to California last year as my trial and so far it is looking good :woohoo: I am off to Cass's place tonight to get help once again on this trip planning.. side note..THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH CASS.. YOU ROCK!! :lovestruc lol I have no idea how she puts up with my million and one questions..lol Think I need to give her my chocolate peanut butter pie on the cruise for all her help..lol

as always hugs to those who need them

 :dogdance:

NO!! You need to try that chocolate peanut butter pie yourself!!! ::yes:: I can ask for two of them :rolleyes1 :lmao: :cloud9:

Oh, and you know how much I loathe to talk Disney  :rotfl2: Looking forward to tonight :woohoo:

Ok how do you all figure out points for food you make. I have a taco soup in the crock right now and don't know how to figure it out.

1 lb ground turkey
1 can of Rotel (we keep it mild for DD)
1 lg can of chopped tomatoes
1 lg can of red (kidney) beans
2 cans of black beans(you can use pinto)
1 can corn (optional)
taco seasoning
packet of ranch dressing mix (didn't use it this time)

Brown up the turkey
Dump tomatoes and red beans, drain black beans and corn and dump them in.
sprinkle in taco seasoning and ranch dressing. You can either crock this or it takes about a 1/2 hour on the stove top.
I usually top it with reduced fat cheese and light sour cream

Would you share the email with us..Di said she would love to stay after the cruise and after all that weight we lose, we need candy to gain it back...:lmao: :scared1:

Walt :cool1:

I'm not sure if it's the type of offer more than one person can use...I will investigate tonight and let you know. If it can be used again I'd be more than happy to send it to you :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

For anyone that has done MNSSHP and stayed on property...

Do they have buses/monorail/etc. running back to the hotels after the party? How does that work? Is there any advantage to staying at a property closer to the Magic Kingdom (say, Poly) as opposed to further away (like one of the All-Star's?).

Thanks in advance for any insight...we only did the cruise last time - I haven't really ever done any WDW research (can you believe it!!!:scared1: )

Count the points of the Beans (fiber lower point values), corn, and Meat. Everything else is no points or insignicant in my mind. :surfweb:

Similiar recipe used in the past and I counted it as 1 pt per cup. :)

Di has some no point soups that are fantastic. Also, Progresso soup zero points per serving, Can is 2 servings for one point per can. :)

Disney has wonder soups...:goodvibes

Walter :cool1:

FO BTW..Di and I have lost 2 pounds since Sunday..Back to our healthy habits to make Disney experience more enjoyable in Oct..

Can't wait

Walt

Bus service works great for All-Star's...:thumbsup2

Monrails is the best, but Di won't let me spend the Kids inheritance so I have to stay at All-Star's :happytv:

Key is to lag behind and enjoy the park and let the others cram into the buses...:scared1:

Check out this Dis forum and Deb's for helpful hints :thumbsup2

I figure for just one night we'd stay at All Star's unless we thought the busses weren't running or something.

I am STILL debating MNSSHP (obviously) but can't decide!!!

It is any cake mix and any can of diet soda. You don't add any other ingredients. It is a very moist cake. I usually do a chocolate cake and diet coke. My daughter has done all kinds of cake mixes/diet sodas. They all have been good. Diane

I've tried the diet 7-up with and Orange cake mix. Add a little cool-whip to each individual serving and top with a mandarin orange for a little fanciness.:thumbsup2

I am back on the wedding timeline because I bought my dress for the wedding. It was on clearence for 60% off and was my size. Alisha is happy and I am not on the timeline in red anymore. :dance3: I have started thinking about the shower. Thanks to mother goose I have a lot of good ideas. I have to run the ideas by the bride first.

You are most welcome. Anytime. :flower3:

From DD in Dallas

Can of Rotel, can of diet coke, put in big saute pan. Get it to bubble then put in 4 chicken breasts. Cook on medium until done. :goodvibes

Will cook tonight for Di :)

Walt :cool1:

I had that last week one night. It really is quite good. :wizard:

Good for you! So, what color did you finally decide on?

I loved the thing that Nancy did with the favorite recipes - I would love to have a cookbook like that!

I also have a file with smoothies and freeze ahead recipes.:woohoo:

Rotel??? Please explain to us northerners ;)

Looks like Jen just did. :thumbsup2

Ok, I think I'm getting hints that I need to go ahead and stay after the cruise for MNSSHP...I got an email today from Disney for 40%off, and Halloween night is included! I haven't checked on it yet, but I thought that was funny.

On another sort of cruise related topic, has anyone flown Delta recently? Good, bad?

Jen, the kids flew Delta for the KK cruise. They were ok with it but had to switch flights in Atlanta. They weren't crazy about the little puddle jumper they were put on to Orlando.

We've just been out and bought a Mickey waffle machine..... for £5 :yay:

It was originally £29.99.:woohoo:

Tomorrow.... and Shhreks Donkey would say...."I'm making WAFFLES!"

I soooo wanted one last month but wasn't willing to pay almost $100.00 for one. I probably wouldn't use it much anyway until we have grandkids.:sad2:

Chuck thought the same thing Cass. Give them the skills and a little confidence and they will learn so much more.

Oh, and you know how much I loathe to talk Disney  :rotfl2: Looking forward to tonight :woohoo:

Wish you had your package today. :dance3:

Becky, I'm eating Taco Soup as we type. :goodvibes Mine is 1 pt for 1 cup although my recipe differs from your's. Mine has Canellini (sp?) beans in it too. One less can of black beans too. I also left out the dressing mix. You really don't need it for the taste.

I had two cups of TS with 12 TLC crackers. It's really a good soup.

Ever try Stuffed Green pepper soup?? EXCELLENT!!

We're debating mnsshp too Jen. We wanted to go on Thursday before the BOB but since we are probably flying Air Tran and they are notorious for switching flight times at the last minute, I'm not willing to shell out over $100.00 and then chance missing the party.

I'm afraid Saturday the 31st will be crazy busy too.

I think we might be leaning towards Cirque for the 31st instead. :confused3

Oh yeah, I forgot...you can also use Morning Star Crumbles for a vegetarian version which I like much more. :cutie:

Rotel is a kind of tomatoes with chiles in it....

Thanks, Jen!

I'm staying for MNSSHP but Frank has to go home he has to work on Sunday!

On another sort of cruise related topic, has anyone flown Delta recently? Good, bad?

I'm flying them on the 24th, so I hope they are good.

Good morning all,
I am off to Cass's place tonight to get help once again on this trip planning.. side note..THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH CASS.. YOU ROCK!! :lovestruc lol I have no idea how she puts up with my million and one questions..lol

I am really starting to love the trip planning part. I had so much fun writing the pre trip report for our trip at the end of the month. Keeps you going on those dreary days at work.

We've just been out and bought a Mickey waffle machine..... for £5 :yay:

It was originally £29.99.:woohoo:

Tomorrow.... and Shhreks Donkey would say...."I'm making WAFFLES!"

Woo Hoo :woohoo: I love Mickey waffles! Can't wait for 'Ohana!

Hope the "Pancake Sisters" accept that "waffle machine" for their "meet/greet" :confused3

Walt :cool1:

You bet! We can balance waffles just as well as pancakes. We are very talented ladies!

FO BTW..Di and I have lost 2 pounds since Sunday..Back to our healthy habits to make Disney experience more enjoyable in Oct..

Walt

Wow, Walt, good for you!!! :cheer2:

Boy oh boy, that sounds yummy!

I'm afraid Saturday the 31st will be crazy busy too.

We're doing La Nouba on 1/28. I'll let you know how we liked it

Ellis is hyper at the moment:yay:

We bought him a new 22" lcd/dvd combo for his bedroom - we've just finished connecting it.:goodvibes

Neils now giving him a lesson on the million buttons on the remote control:scared1: - no doubt he'll press the wrong one and turn it to speaking Japanese:rotfl2:

I soooo wanted one last month but wasn't willing to pay almost $100.00 for one. I probably wouldn't use it much anyway until we have grandkids.:sad2:

$100:scared1: - I just paid $7.50 for one.

What a shame we have different power and plugs or I could have shipped you one.:sad2:

What's the usual point value per cake?
