Karen - I love your pictures!!!! I love the castle ones, the TRex, etc... We have never done a shopping day down there. We have an outlet place one hour on either side of us - north or south - that has many of the same stores as down there as well as an outlet mall about 20 minutes away with the Saks and Neiman outlets and more. I think we should shop down there though - it would be fun for a change of scenery.

Its a lovely place to stroll around (although we're usually moving at a much quicker pace than a stroll:lmao: .. I'm usually yelling behind me..."keep up people, we have soooo many shops and so very little time":lmao: Nice restaurants too.:thumbsup2

I wish you would have gotten a pic of that man sleeping, that would have been a riot!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I should have shouldn't I! Maybe I'll have to snap a sleeping Dawg next October instead.:goodvibes

Got this from DIL Stacy: :lmao:

Yes, I remember. I thought that your picture might have shown the halo on the rightful owner!

Nope, no photos:sad2: - I'll let you keep the halo;)

I've been loading some of our pictures from our WDW trip on to photobucket so I can post them here too.[/QUOTE]

Loving them:thumbsup2

Karen, I can't find some of our pictures either :sad1: Rachel said she downloaded all of the pictures to the laptop but she kept putting different cards in the camera and I think she might hhave missed some. I can't find our pictures from the DIS meet either. We have lots from The Osbourne lights, we went to see them twice we thought they were so spectacular, especially when they would do the synchronization to the Christmas misic :cool1: I'll have to post some of the Osbourne lights for you!
I'm enjoying seeing all of your pictures!

Help yourself  In return I might "borrow" some of yours. You have some really nice pictures too! We never made it to the parade at the Magic Kingdom so I'm really enjoyed seeing those, we really do need to get back there to see all we missed because of Rach being sick for those few days!

Here's a few pictures from Toy Story Mania as we were walking through the line. We loved that ride!!!!

Wow, that's great. If we don't have to be there when you validate we could get you two. Check it out and let me know.

Ahhh, you're too sweet  I was just joking though, I would never ask that ;) I think you only get 5 passes, I'm sure your family and friends could use those :thumbsup2

Mon 22nd

(Today was our only cold day. It was ok in the daytime, but it got really cold on the evening.)

After that we went to the new T Rex restaurant.
Just burger type stuff but it was tasty.

P1050282.jpg

We loved T-Rex!!!

We never got to eat at the T-Rex restaurant. Everytime we were at Downtown Disney, and we were there quite a few times, the line just waiting to get to the podium was wrapping around the building. We did go in the shop and peeked in at the restaurant, it did look pretty cool. Hopefully next time we go to WDW or in Oct. the day we get off the Magic we'll be able to eat there!

We still have Epiphany or Three Kings Day here. Each person puts a box of straw or some type of food for the camels under their beds. The Three Kings come and leave a gift in exchange for the camel food. It is a Spanish tradition - my dad and his family were from Spain. We have always celebrated it with our children. They will not be here for the first time this year, so I guess we will put their boxes out and see what happens. ;)

Ok, gotta run...bye folks :wave2:

Have a great Sunday!!! :upsidedow

The Husband Store
A store that sells new husbands has opened in New York City , where a
woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance
is a description of how the store operates:

You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the value
of the products increase as the shopper ascends the flights. The shopper
may choose any item from a particular floor, or may choose to go up to
the next floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the
building!

Floor 5 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Gorgeous, Help
with Housework, and Have a Strong Romantic Streak.

She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor, where the
sign reads:

Floor 6 - You are visitor 31,456,012 to this floor. There are no men on
this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible
to please. Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store.

:lmao: :rotfl2:
well i'm sure Robin would be the first to tell you that mikey(underdog) was on the 6th floor and she got the only one.:rotfl2: :cool2: pirate:

Morning Folks,

Awsome photo's everyone!!

As for the Disney likers in the family.. well Sean and I are not nuts for it but Cass has talked about it so often it just sounds like too much fun! Regular cruises have casinos in them and we are not real gamblers so it never attracted us so the Disney cruise makes sence :) It's not that we hate disney but it is not on our thoughts everyday..lol

are we shunned now?? :guilty:

I do intend on having a blast tho... and I hear the strawberry smoothies are to die for ;)

hugs to those who need them and as always one for the dawg

How long/far do you walk Mike?

not nearly enough i'm afraid.:sad2:
about 2 miles. i get short of breath. i try to increase the speed and go longer but i struggle. doc says since my surgery my heart muscle is on the low side of normal.(whatever that means):confused3

he said, do what i can and then just relax. i thought i was having the big one that one day playing bball on the ship.(showing off for the chics:cool2: )
as a wise person told me...it is what it is.:wizard: :thumbsup2 :worship:

Just curious.....

But how many of your spouses/significant others (oh, is that only me;) )
not really care about Disney at all?
They just go along because it's your choice?

Bob, likes Disney but he always says that there are so many other places to go and things to do and other cruise lines to try, he just doesn't get it:rolleyes:

But it seems like so many of your spouses all like it the same as you do, or
is this not really the case.

I am the one that is the bigger Disney "nut" in our family. Al likes to go to WDW and he likes DCL but he too says there is more to see than Disney. Over the past few years as Rachel has been getting older we have gone to some places other than WDW for our vactions and that has helped. He never really complains much when I book a Disney trip though, he just ries to act like Grumpy ;) He has been wanting to try a different cruise line than Disney for a few years now but somehow we just keep ending up back on the Magic :goodvibes

Of course not! A tendency toward Disney or a desire to learn, experience, or be there in whatever capacity is quite sufficient!!!

I think Chuck and I fell in love with Disney together. I've been there 4 more times than he has but it wasn't until we went together when Tony was only 2 that we fell in love with all things Disney.

robin went to wdw in 72. we went the summer after we got married in 76.
i was hooked right away. (and ever since).:wizard:
we never went anywhere when i was a kid and just fell in love with the place.
:wizard: :wizard:
took ds in 81 for the first time when he was 3 1/2. (told them he wasnt 3 yet so we didnt have to pay for him. (and he was really tall for his age):rolleyes1
hey, times were tough back then. :guilty: :rotfl2:

so i must ask karen and cheryl, who won on toy story mania ride??

happy to report i beat robin both times.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
it's killing her.:cutie: she cant wait for a rematch.:cool2:

"i choose not to play again":rolleyes1 :lmao:
