I got an email from DU explaining the shipboard credit. I assume everyone that booked with DU will get the shipboard credit if the fuel surcharge was added to their ressie.

And for people who booked directly with Disney or with AAA, they are taking the fuel surcharge off of the final payment.

So, as this is the year of the BOB cruise, I have a little ode for you all....

We’re on the Disney Magic, she’s so beautiful and strong,
Her décor is exquisite and her corridors…so long,
I feel a grand excitement as the band begins to play,
She turns to face the sea, casts off her ropes and sails away.

We cruising on the Magic where, with luxury and ease,
We slip past Cuba and on through the Caribbean sea,
We’re sailing for St Thomas upon a south western track,
And I haven’t got a clue which is the front and which is the back.

The motion of the vessel and the rolling of the sea,
The moon upon the ocean’s like a Paradise to me,
The curving of the planet and the passage of the sun,
The terrifying toilet where you press the switch and run!

We had a little fracas when unpacking all our clothes,
The woman needs the hanging space – everybody knows!
But all is now resolved and there is harmony once more,
I’ve got thirty hangers and he’s settled for a drawer.

But oh! That force eleven! Fifteen metre swells and more!
The teacups and the crockery that shot across the floor,
Seasick in my cabin, I was helpless, I was weak,
My wardrobe may be little, but by god it can’t half creak.

The choices of activity are staggering at sea,
Bridge, keep fit or handicrafts, which are the ones for me?
Or if you’re tired of living, give the laundrette a blast,
Take somebody’s washing out and see how long you last!

Hi everyone. We're having a wonderful time here at WDW!!! It was great to see Karen and her family again and to meet Mimi, Mack and Kathy at the meet at EPCOT on Sat.!

Hello everyone!

Hope you all had a lovely holiday and enjoyed time well spent with those who are near and dear to you.

Jay and I gave ourselves a pretty amazing Christmas giftie ... but it also required that we give something up.

Soooooo .... we were quoted an amazing price for the 2010 September repo cruise that sails from Barcelona to Port Canaveral (this amazing price included airfare ... wow!). Anyway we've always wanted a chance to try a more unique cruise and dip our feet into something on the other side of the Atlantic. So we canceled this cruise and booked the transatlantic instead - we just couldn't pass it up.

I know some of you will probably shake your fists at us since we canceled the 2007 cruise (but that one was out of my hands ... stupid foundation), but this other cruise is an opportunity we might not see again.

There may still be a possibilty that we could use our DVC to take this cruise, but I don't think Jay really wants to do that. So, please remove Bendy and her Bubba from the passenger list and add us to the "friends" list (if you'll still have us, that is).

More likely than not we'll be at WDW the week leading up to your cruise departure, and we would be tickled to meet with any of you who might be so inclined. We're really harmless ... unless there's food on the table.

Better late than never!​

Oops! - I missed another birthday - sorry Walt

So, when are Paige, Cheryl and Karen due back from WDW?

I'm back now - did you miss me? ... or just wondering when the peace will be broken

I have a question for the ones that were in WDW the last few weeks. How were the crowds and was it worth fighting the crowd. We are thinking about going next year between Christmas and New Year. The kids will not be able to go because it is peak season at UPS and they can not get off so I guess it will just be me and Tommy. I feel so bad leaving the precious children for that long.

I found the 18 - 24th totally fine. We were in the parks for opening, made use of the fast passes and didnt have a line longer than 30 minutes. After the 24th however is a totally different story ... it reached capacity at MK on both 25th and 31st Dec. We didnt even try to get in. Lines were loooooong. Luckily we'd done it all the week before, I wouldnt have liked arriving 25th onwards

I'm trying to backtrack and look through all the kid pics posted....love them all! I love seeing the Christmas pictures...everyone's decorations and clothes are so pretty!

It was on the 23rd. I was going to get DS from school (early release). I was half way there when it happened.

No injuries to me what so ever.

Car should be below the "totaled" limit. Repairs are just under $6,000 right now. It would have to surpass $7,000-$7,500 for them to total it. I have found the car I want if it does get totaled.

Hi everyone...remember me? I know it's been a while

We're back from our AZ/DL trip...we had a prety good time. Disneyland was awesome! Thomas just loved it (of course we did too!) and Mom had so much fun on this vacation with us that she's considering NOT cancelling the BOB/BASH cruise.

Of course all trips have their ups and downs....we were at DL Monday and Tuesday, and by the end of Tuesday Thomas was a limp noodle. Wendesday he got sick on the way home, and was sick over Christmas. We still managed to have a good Christmas and Santa still found us, but we didn't get to do a lot in Arizona because of it. Then, yours truly got sick on Sunday...aches and sore throat. I am actually home from work today and just posting so you know we're still here!

I'll post some pics later...hope everyone's ok. I haven't read back much on #16, so someone may have to fill me in on the latest news.
