Hey Jeff...hope all is well.

For the most part. Find out today if my car will be considered "totaled" after a small accident that still did a lot of damage to my car. That's what happens when you hit a dump truck and then a semi I guess.

Cass, Kira looked really cute in the Xmas pictures. Was she into the whole Santa thing yet? It amazed me how long until DS got into it. I think it was closer to 3 or 4. But he fell hook, line and sinker this year (he'll be 9 in Feb). This may have been the best Xmas yet with him.

That sucks! However, I hated the 10 days or so of waiting while the insurance company makes their decision. That happened to us 3 years ago.

Great day in football yesterday.

Packers win to keep the Lions 0-16

Buccaneers lose and don't make the playoffs (our Nephew is a big Bucs fan, even though he lives here, and would always call when the Packers would lose and the Bucs would win. No calls the last 4 weeks though. :rotfl: )

With the Bucs loss, I didn't have to cheer for the Cowboys and it was nice to see the Eagle kill them yesterday to keep them out of the playoffs.

Bears lost and are out.

Broncos lost and are out.

Patriots lost and are out.

And how about the Dolphins? Not a fan, but to go from 1-15 to winning the AFC East this year, pretty impressive.

Once it hits 70% of the value of the car, they will total it out. It is/was a 2004 Accord V6 with 81K miles, so I'm figuring around $10K-$10.5K value, so if it gets to $7K in repairs it will be totaled.

Now just have to convince them it is worth $10-$10.5. Edmunds and NADA put it around $10.5. Kelly Blue Book has it around $9K. Not sure why Kelly is so low. They go by "Private Party" and you can't find them under $10K.

Well, since I did come into the office to get a little work done today, I better start doing some of that.

Later people. I'll check back in a while.

Joanne - Living so near the beach, do you have any New Year's traditions including the ocean, seafood, etc....?

No we are a boring bunch, just the normal ham or turkey. I do make a fresh shrimp cocktail on Christmas Eve to go with the beef.

Jeff/Chris....what is it you two? We haven't heard from the two of you for ages and then you are both here at the same time.

I think....you've been chatting and got a bit guilty about staying away for such a long time??;) :thumbsup2

It would be great if we could meet up....who knows, 2010 isn't so far away. You could always pay for lunch in WDW if we manage to arrange something with Brenda before the BOB. (Please say you are still coming!!!)

Holiday was O.K. Went to the outlaws - same 'ol, same 'ol. Suz friend from Vegas flew in Xmas night. She is here through the 5th. We're going up to see my grandma tomorrow.

Just been busy and we've been getting dumped with snow. About a meters worth this month. It all melted (except the big piles) on Saturday (it got over 50* F).

That is why we're not going. It is 2-3 weeks into the school year here.

So Chris, how long will you leave the kids? Would you do 1 week? ;)
