what do you get for your parents who have everything??
we got mine the same thing as last year. the gift of paint.
last year while they were in florida, i painted their ceiling in the living room.
(3 coats of primer and 1 coat of paint)
my mom liked it so much she wanted me to do the kitchen ceiling too. i wanted to paint it over the summer but NO WAY will my dad let me. so i went over there today and put 2 coats of primer on it. hope to finish it tomorrow.
merry christmas mom and dad.

thinking of mailing them a lowes ad with the paint cans circled.

I get my mom gift certificates for the hair dresser and nail place. At 87 she doesn't need anything.

We're getting 6-10" tonight and tomorrow of the wonderful white stuff. I hate snow. I shoveled the drive yesterday and not sure when I'll have time to do it again. Did everyone see that it snowed in Las Vegas? That is so weird. How long until spring? Winter doesn't offically start for 3 more days!!!!

Hope all of you up north stay warm and safe. It is out of the norm here too. Very warm so it's very foggy.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to say hi from North Carolina. We are about 90 miles from the North/South Carolina border...Sleeping in St. George, SC tonight then on to MVMCP tomorrow afternoon.

I also have news.....I saw my doc this week and he says I can start getting back to my life. I have to see him in a couple of months after getting a C-T scan, and if that is good, he will start to wean me off of the anti-seizure meds I am taking. In 6 months, I will get an MRI and see him again, and if that is good, then I think he will release me. He told me to have a great time at WDW, but not ride anything that could make me nauseous or anything with blinking (strobe-like) lights. No problem.......

I am very hopeful since hearing this news and I appreciate all the good thoughts and prayers from my DIS friends.

CBR is my fav too.

We will go to Tommy's mothers on Christmas Eve and My mothers on Christmas day. They kids will show up at both places I hope. I worked from home Monday and Tuesday due to the icy roads. Megan and Jack (dog) did not seem to be happy that I interruped their sleeping time. Will the boys be home?

Patrick arrived yesterday with the girlfriend, she is styaing until Sunday. Then he leaves the 26th for Key West with her family. Scott came over last night for dinner. It was nice to have them both.

I am having Mass said Saturday for my brother. So I told them I expect them both there for their Grandmother.

Here's the updated storm prediction. We have now moved into the 10"-12" area. It had been looking at going to the south of us by one county.

I should add that this picture may update by the time that people look at it. So I don't take responsibility for sunny, warm weather here.

We stayed there for the first time in 1997 after I won a trip to Orlando on a local radio station. The station put us up at the Sheraton Safari right outside of DTD. Beautiful place!! We decided to splurge and stay on the grounds for the first time and chose CBR.

Geeeez Mike, we really do have a lot in common don't we??

Hopefully, I'll be DISing from home today. Jeff, are you going in?

Nope. DS's school is closed so I'm home (they didn't close until 4:30 this morning, but I think everyone knew last night it would be closed. Why not just announce it on the 10:00 p.m. news? ).

We closed our office anyways, so no need to take any time for today.

Suz on the other hand, still has a 9:30 opening. Stupid because it won't get any better around here until after noon. I told her to tell her boss she won't be in until this afternoon. She has almost 4 hours of OT, so if she puts only 4 in today, she's at a straight 40.

got this off of ebay the other day. i remember seeing this sign in the terminal.

funny part about it is, on the back, it had written on it....numbers boy, afeg and bigred were here (repo 2008)
