Yeah Harrison.  Good Job.  Tell him I will see him on the Mickey boat. :cool1: :cool1: Di

I will tell him. I have been telling him everyones congrats and showing him the smilies. I am trying LOTS of positive reinforcements so there is no relapse.

Good Night all. Going to watch the rest of the Texas OKL game.

Dan

It's florida oklahoma silly, Roger is hoping for UF and I am for OK.

With two Seminoles in this house can't go for the Gators!

Kathy and I had been conversing about my next birthday - you know the Beatles tune "When I'm ___"? Well that will be me on the cruise! And I didn't mean it to be in bold - guess I hit a wrong key.

Thanks for the offer but we haven't had dinner yet!! lol

Karen: How old is Ellis?

Goofyfreak: How old is Harrison?

WW fans: To all of you who have been discussing the new WW program - I went to a meeting today and got the new material. It doesn't look all that different. It seems to focus on finding foods that are more filling but the same points values. The leader said they took the best of core and flex and put them together, but basically the same concept. There were some new recipes - or old ones with nice new pictures!

NK

I went today to Weight Watchers too. It is all about filling foods. My leader joked and said it was the flore plan. It sounds good. I will continue. I have been good since Monday. Hurray. Walt too. Diane

That's what I got out of it too Nancy K. That and now ALL beverages count towards your 8 glasses of water a day. Yippee Skippee!!! I was a little confused though on the "set" points. :confused3

LindyLooHoo found her way back to us!! I have to echo Paige's sentiments. You are one hot mama!! Please post lots of pictures of the cruise when you get back. I'll be sure to send you a link to the new thread.

Your post reminded me Kathy. What ever happened to Tracy? Is she not cruising with us anymore?:confused3

Same question Cheryl...are the "Morsel's" cruising with us still? :confused3 :confused3

Isn't it only 6 liquids a day. I will need to go back and read my books. Diane

Here is a picture of me and my DS during our first cruise. Sorry couldn't find a more recent one, but this is one of my favorites :woohoo:

Thanks Nancy for the link :thumbsup2

Well, it's after 10pm here and Kira is still awake  She hasn't gotten out of bed though, so that's good news :thumbsup2 She's just talking and kicking the wall :lmao:

She's doing a lot better than I thought she would, so I am proud of her for that! :lovestruc

Tonight was a double whammy for her...I decided since her crib was going, so were her soosies! (soothers or dummies as some of you may call them) She's only gotten a soosie at night for over a year now, so it's not a big deal but I thought it might be a good idea to do it now since she associates her soosies with her crib.

Amazingly, she hasn't even asked for it, not even a peep about it :thumbsup2

Paige, I loved that family photo you posted  And you look really good and really happy to be there :goodvibes

Nancy, that picture of Chuck is hilarious!! I've never heard of such a game before. Rob would SO be under that table with Chuck if we ever played :lmao:

Goofy4Ever, great pic :thumbsup2 I don't recognize you either from the ship though :guilty:

Evening all,

On a bit late tonight cause I am currently slow cooking up some pork ribs for tomorrows work lunch. I made my own BBQ sause and used splenda brown sugar for it so it is not as "evil" as it could be lol

Thankfully it is friday tomorrow, been a very busy week, so i am really looking forward to this weekend of relaxation.

My other news is I finally talked to my kids and my son had to make the decission on our trip and came to the conclusion that he will not be able to join us for the week before the cruise due to college choices. So it will just be the three of us for the week before the cruise but he will fly down and join us for the actuall cruise. It's sad but a mature decission I am proud he made. My daughter was very excited when I told her about our extended holiday and will enjoy it very much :)

so now let the booking begin!

BTW who else is going to be down for the week before?
as always hugs to those who need them and  :dogdance:

To make up for it though, I did have braces for 5 years!

One thing was in my favor, my dentist said I have a perfect bite, so braces weren't needed, it's a good thing, because I know my parents couldn't afford that while we kids were growing up. I am so very thankful for the insurance coverage I have!!! :thumbsup2

Andy, what the heck do you do at the gym for 3 hours??? You must be superman cus I can barely do my 45 mins on the elliptical :scared:

On the weekends I do 2 to 3 complete rotations of what I do on weekday mornings. This past Saturday and Sunday, that was 300 adominal crunches, 300 lower back extensions, 20 minutes on the bike, 10 minutes on the elliptical, 90 minutes on the treadmill, and then some various stretching exercises. I burn the most calories on the treadmill because I start the machine at an incline of 8.0 and a speed of 4mph, then gradually increase up to an incline of 12.0 and a speed of 4.2mph.

I don't do all 90 minutes of the treadmill at once, I break that down into two different sets and do some exercising inbetween the sets to give my body (legs) a chance to rest.

Oh yes, Cass - I forgot to post earlier.... Here's hoping sweet Kira is off to dream land quickly and sleeps soundly all through the night in that big bed!

I wish I could sleep through the night as well, but thanks to my little girl who forgot to take her house key with her, I got woke up at 2am from a sound sleep and here I sit wide awake ever since. It's going to be another very L-O-N-G day for dear old dad..........:rolleyes1

kathy has to wear pampers on vacation??
that's ok.:grouphug: underdogs getting old and he's probably only a few years away from that too.:rotfl2: :lmao:

Mike your outrageous Sir and it's only down to your scare that your allowed to get away with it some places a man just ain't supposed to go...:snooty: .......Kathy love Harrison maybe the guy to chat with about the pro's and con's when making the hard decision between Huggies or Pampers,oh and my late mother never went anywhere without her cough soothers.........:rolleyes1

They said they'll probably jump back on here when the cruise gets closer.

Yes they are :woohoo: They had been debating whether they were going to go on this cruise but I just got an email from them today saying they made their decision and they're definitely coming :yay:
Now we just have to hope that Al's boss manages to keep the company afloat through these rough times so Al doesn't lose his job so we can still come. Al said his boss had a meeting with all of the employees today and things are pretty bad, he has more money going out than he has coming in :sad1: For now it just means they need to really watch things and no more overtime but he's not sure how much longer he'll be able to hold on.

We'll have at least 2 unhappy campers if your made to change your plans dear, hang in there .....:sad2:

I love anything you start. I'm a Jeff groupie.:worship:

Lori love i had you down as a nice girl.....:rolleyes1

I have never heard of that. Weird. Diane

Di dear it's Wisconsins.....Now weather they should be allowed OUT of there is something i feel unqualified to answer dear...:rolleyes1

Tell you what, I'll post a picture of me in JUST the sombrero. How does that sound?

:scared1: :scared:

I'm so glad that planes don't fly upside down like this!:rotfl:

I took that photo just before my flight back from Germany- just Ellis and I. I bought it him to keep him occupied so I'd get 2 seconds peace on the plane:rolleyes1

Karen: How old is Ellis?

He turned 8 last September so he'll be just 9 when we cruise.

HELLO EVERYONE !!!!:cool1:

Just wanted to drop in and say a BIG Hi to all the KKers.

I miss you all.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all

Linda xxx

Lovely to hear from you Linda:goodvibes

Finally caught up for today -

Karen - I love the pictures of Ellis! The ice cream one is my favorite followed closely by the sombrero - too cute. I have a picture of my daughter amongst the stuffed animals like you have of Ellis too. Made me smile!! Great pictures - have fun with that scanner!!

Thanks:goodvibes . I'm enjoying my latest toy:rolleyes1

Karen: Loved the pictures, the santa hat, one of my faves.

Thank you. I've enjoyed flicking through our old albums to find some photos to post
