we just got an email from our TA saying the price on the BOB cruise has dropped and she rebooked it for us at $200 cheaper. same cat 12 gty.

OK, I just finished catching up on several pages & have captured multiple quotes. Here's hoping I can answer them all!

Bob's sister lives in Pittsburgh PA.
She came home for the holiday and went home Sunday night.
She returned to a housefire. They've lost about everything.
Melissa and her boyfriend were just renting the top apt.
And they didn't have renters insurance, so they are really in a rough spot now.

That is awful. We're especially sympathetic to fire victims since our sons are firefighters. Prayers to all involved.

Still at work.... ugh

Sad stuff here today. Ds # 1 ex girlfriend's dad passed away Saturday. He was very sick with cancer so he is in a better place. But the worst thing happened to my friend. I know her through church- we are in the choir together. She is 44 and has a three year old. She was 8 months along and yesterday did not feel the baby move. they did an emergency c- section and it was too late. We are all in shock. She has such a hard time getting pregnant and has had a few miscarriages but never this far along. She is so depressed. Our priest was with her a while today so lets hope he can help. So please keep her and her family im your prayers. They will certainly need them.

OMG, how sad. I would think she'd be more than a little depressed. How does one deal with that? Same thing happened to one of Jason's teammate's mom & step-dad last year - she was almost at her due date. Prayers to them as well.

Time for Biggest Loser, and no Mike, I'm not talking about you buddy!!!

I knew that Renee would go if she fell below the line. Now the ones I've liked the least all along are going to the finals - except for Michelle. Hope she wins!

After waiting for the 11 month mark to make ressies, I forgot today! First thing tomorrow. For now we're going to reserve at SSR because it's one of our home resorts. In the spring we'll switch at least the Thurs. before to OKW cuz it's fewer points & the nights after to AKV.

Just a quick hi before I have to go shopping for the family our store adopted for the holidays.

Today we can make our DVC ressies for pre and post cruise. Wish us luck that we get BCV. That is our fave. Room 128 has direct access to the quiet pool. Just open the slider and you are there.

Did anyone else do the ugly cry during the Biggest Loser or was it just me? The make over show is always my favorite.

I have to say that usually I am blubbering through the make-over shows but I didn't this time. Maybe a little when Renee was on but honestly, I don't care for Heba, Ed & Vicki at ALL I hope Michelle wins the whole thing

I was thinking that Vicky should have sent Ed home and kept Renee. Since she is a lot smaller, she has less weight to lose. I was doing the ugly cry when they got to see their families and when Hebba got into that size 14 dress. That was amazing.

I see some people are looking at rebooking October because of the fuel surcharge being lifted. I asked my rep from Dreams and it isn't that easy for those who rebooked onboard. Here is what she said:

We finally got some details as to how this is going to work. It’s a bit complicated but I’ll do my best to explain it.

If you want this removed now, I will need to re-price your cruise at today’s rates and (here’s the fun part), you will lose the onboard booking benefits. Here’s another thing to mull over, if we go through this re-pricing process, if there’s a spike in fuel costs you can end up having the fuel surcharge slapped right back on.

However, if we leave it alone, DCL is going to do a quarterly review of the impacted bookings to see if the fuel surcharge is still applicable. If it is not, they will convert it into a shipboard credit. Also, from what we’ve been told, any unused portion will be refundable.​

So, for those of you who rebooked while onboard, you may want to look at everything before having the price changed. Just an FYI.

Hey Annette - Thanks so much for posting this today. We went ahead and booked SSR for the night we get off the ship, but we will try to move it at the 7 month mark. We probably would have forgotten, so thanks again!

Di, that is very cool! I hope you will get to go see her!!! My best friend or the sister God didn't give me sent her middle daughter down last year to work in the park on an independent study. She ended up being a princess and some other characters. She tested or auditioned at the highest level of their dance program, but her initial date was after the roles had been cast for that season. Bummer for her in terms of theatrical experience in dance, but still she got to work there.
