Me too - I was thinking it was just my machine. Very, very slooooooowwwww.

Well, I guess I killed the thread tonight. Goodnight to anyone that's left :faint:

Well, after not being on the boards for a few weeks, I finally have read the last sixty or so pages that I was behind on. I am glad to hear that everyone is doing okay. I hope everyone had a Great Thanksgiving.

Please keep in your prayers the family of a Wal-Mart employee who was trampled on Black Friday. He did die during the incident. My wife works at a local Wal-Mart here, so this really hit home.

Also please keep in your prayers for a speedy recovery for a young man that was involved in a motor vehicle crash on Thanksgiving night. After racing with some friends, he decided to take a shortcut through an industrial park. We received a 911 call, stating that he did not know where he was. But that he was trapped under his vehicle. Due to todays technology, the dispatcher was able to plot latitude and longitude and locate him. This is the same stuff the gps units use. The police did locate him. He was pinned under his vehicle, which had rolled not once, but possibly up to EIGHT times, per the reconstruction. He did hit a three hundred pound boulder, and moved it about fifty feet. Did take out two trees, an electrical light, and a business sign. Upon arival, we found that the vehicle was upside down, and the patients feet were through the sunroof. Miracalously, he was able to talk to us the whole time. We did use our air bags and lifted the car off him. We also called in Flight for Life, which is a medical helicopter here in Wisconsin that we use for rapid transports of critical patients. Surprisingly, as of Friday, he was out of the hospitol, and did stop in to our fire station. He does have a fractured femur, but no other broken bones. He did have an angel watching over him that day. My chief told him to go and buy a lottery ticket. The other scary part is that the ten or so businesses in this industrial park were all closed on Friday, so we may not have found him, until it was too late.

Sorry the last post was so long. But for those of you that do not wear seat belts, please start. It could help save your life.

This time I'm waiting for Jeff to tell me to start booking flights. I'll let him do all the footwork (I think he really enjoys it anyway) and then go with whatever he suggests. Last year we took Midwest Airlines but I'm afraid they will no longer exist by next October and the kids took Delta. I'd like to stay together this time too. We'll probably go with Air Tran but they have their drawbacks too. They like to change your flight times a million times and I really want to get down there in the morning. And, Air Tran won't come out with their flights for us until February. I can't wait that long.:scared:

I was going to ask my fellow Wisconsinites what everyone was planning on for airlines. This is one thing that I would like to do as soon as possible, but I am also trying to get the best deal, just like everyone else. It looks like by this next weekend, we should be able to start seeing some prices for our time.

Up early because I just to Sean off to the airport:sad1:

It was nice having him home for awhile, I guess just long enough not to get on each others nerves:rotfl:

But, Squeeker, his cat, is probably going to have a party today.
when he first came home she looked shocked. "What is he doing back here?
I thought he was gone!"
So she had to get used to him dragging her around with him everywhere he went and sleeping up on his loft bed. She is 10 years old, overweight and I'll bet she has some arthritis, she really hates being up in high places that she can no longer jump from or it hurts her joints.
She hid from Sean the first day, every time he let her down she ran and hid behind the furniture.
I found her yesterday in the laundry basket in the basement:rotfl:

So, kitty party at my house today:banana: :cat:

Boy will she be surprised when he comes home for a month in 2 weeks!:scared:

How about that! Will you get to see him? Since my son is on campus this semester instead of co-opping up at Ft. Meade, I get to see him for his birthday! He is actually coming home that evening and will watch the Army-Navy game with us Saturday! Go Army!

Go Navy!!! Sorry, I'm a Navy brat!!! Born in Portsmouth Naval Hospital, Virginia :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Were the "friends" in a different car? Why didn't they call 911 instead of the kid in the accident? I hope they didn't just take off on him. Regardless, prayers for the young man  and even more prayers for the "friends" who left him there. :sad2:

YES!!!! They saved a few family members here including our daughter. :flower3:

Just watch the thread Chris. :thumbsup2 We'll be chatting about it soon, although it appears that most of the Wisconsin BOBers have taken a sabbatical from the thread. C'mon kids...come out, come out wherever you are.....:yay:

Poor Squeeker. When we still had our "Kitty" (creative name, eh?) she used to run from Kristin because she would carry her upside down. Butt up in Kristin's face and her head hanging down. Kristin used to like when the cat's tail would swish her in the face. :rotfl2:

Did you and Sean have a nice visit? Did you do anything fun??:cheer2:
