No idea how we got it:confused3 .. I was only on sites I'd been on a million times before:confused3 ... didnt open any dodgy looking emails, I did download something yesterday but it was off a site I use regularly but:confused3

Thank god its sort of fixed now. We had to wipe our whole pc clean - right back to factory settings:scared1:

We went an bought an external hard drive and downloaded file after file until most stuff was saved. Luckily we got our photos off ok:thumbsup2

Cost a lot of ££ but worth every penny.

4weeks til wdw at christmas time then the cruise next Oct:banana: .. dont think we'll get a holiday in between though... Neils hours are limited at work at the moment:sad2:

I had a nice salad for dinner at the diner and a slice of the most delicious pumpkin pie I ever had in my life. I can't say this to my mom, but this pumpkin pie was even better then the pumpkin pie she makes.

Oooooh - I love pumpkin pie:yay: - almost as nice as cheesecake:yay:

I'm back:yay:

After many loooong hours, two p.c. shops, hardware and software purchases and lots of arguments - we're back on line (kind of):rolleyes1

WE HAD A MAJOR TROJAN VORUS ATTACK OUR PC:sad2: - Me no likey trojans:sad2:

:thumbsup2

:lmao: Great idea:lmao:

Dried fruit like a raisin

Bl**dy is a cuss word... blime is sort of "oh my god" kind of saying

A popadom id an indian round fried crisp. About 8-10 inches in diameter. We eat them with an indian sauce called raita - (yoghurt and mint dip) and onion salad and chutney. We have lots of indian restaurants in England. Its the "norm" to go for a few drinks on a saturday evening then on for a curry afterwards.

Trojan - BAD!!!! I'm sorry. Thanks to you and Heather for straightening me out on the English slang. I do love learning from you so much!

Well, its good to be back, but I'm shattered...

Spending hours looking at files on the pc then running to school for 2 hours inbetween and running between classes has worn me out.

Gnight folks..

Happy thanksgiving... a bit late, but better than never:rolleyes:

Nighty Night Karen.......:wave2:

Oh my goodness - we had enough food to feed and army. I am stuffed. My family enjoyed Bolt quite a bit - we were the only 4 people in the theater; and we didn't mind looking silly in our 3-D glasses. It was really cute. Rhino steals the movie, for sure. I am reclining while hubby is cleaning up, daughter is making what will be the 4th dessert in the kitchen, and son is playing his banjo a while before he goes to help clean up.

You really made me giggle the way you spelled bly-me:cutie:

I like explaining - ask away:goodvibes

You might find all our accents hard to understand to begin with, when we meet next Oct. Even though we have a teeny tiny country, we have many different accents... most people think I'm Australian when I'm in America:rotfl: .... if you dont understand us just smile and nod and pretend you do:rotfl2: .... or just say "uh?":confused3 "wadda ya say?"

G night:goodvibes

Oh you're funny - I had no idea how to spell it. We have a common house fly, so bly seemed logical, though she did say it as all one word. Accents have never been a problem for me, but I'll pretend if I ask and still can't understand. :rotfl: When I was in England (way back many, many years ago) I picked up a British accent in less than 3 days. I went from there to Paris and sounded quite funny by the time I got to Austria. My dad and his family were from Spain, so I grew up with someone with a very heavy accent - most people in my hometown had a hard time understanding him. I love accents. My husband can usually identify where people are from (in the US) when he hears them speak - he's usually dead on too. I'll keep asking - I hate to not know something, and I love to learn; it can be a menacing combination! My students get a kick out of it though - if they ask me something I don't know, I have to stop class then and there to find out. Just tell me if I annoy you asking too many things please!

Rhino had me laughing so hard, I was crying. I was kind of glad there was nobody else in the theater, so I didn't have to worry about laughing so much. He was hilarious!

Becky....I thought you was going to you're parents for Turkey day.
Saturday, Mom is working today.

Do you happen to have Vista? Sean put a patch on his vista the other week and it did the same thing as you are saying. Luckily he could back up things. His laptop still isn't the same but it is getting there.
