I would be annoyed if I was her mother and she wasn't coming home.

I keep trying to tell myself, as my kids get older, that I will be happy to celebrate whenever they can get here. I really hope I get to the point where I am truthfully living that and not telling myself that. I know it gets harder to visit parents when they get older and have their own lives. I'm not there yet, but at least I know where I should be.

Today is going to be just being lazy for me, hubby is off to DJ again tonight with Cass's hubby. Then we see them both tomorrow for Kiras B-day party.. cannot believe she is turning 2!
