Have to share my little bit of fall. We planted this tree when we first moved in just to get some fall in Florida.

Beautiful, Joanne!!! Thanks for sharing!

Mary!!!!!!!!!!! So glad you dropped by!!! I miss you and wish you were going with us!!!

I am uploading some photos to see about making a few things from Disney Photopass. The have some very fun gift and card ideas. Maybe I can get a few more pictures of the kids this week and make our Christmas cards - that would be good!!!

Kathy!!!! I am glad you are somewhat better and headed in the right direction!!! Mr. Water Bottle can certainly be a good buddy. And gee, if you're home, we can both DIS a lot today!

Top Ten Castles and Palaces on this show -
  1. The Tower of London
  2. Warwick Castle
  3. Tintagel Castle
  4. Leeds Castle
  5. Caernarfon Castle
  6. Stirling Castle
  7. St. Michael's Mount
  8. Edinburgh Castle
  9. Hampton Court*
  10. Windsor Castle
So, no - Cadbury (or does it have two r's in England?) didn't make it, but you know - not everyone's taste is as well-developed as yours, Kathy!

Interesting. Let's see what our British friends think about the list, although I still think it was a mistake to leave Cadbury World off the list...:rolleyes1

Hi Mary!!!!

It's so nice to hear from you! Thanks for the hugs. I should really pop over to the SSMC09 board to see how things are going.

I wonder, does Mark know how far his little hopping pancake bunny has gone???:lmao:

Didn't get on much yesterday just long enough to jump on and say HI. Had to go finish cleaning up the yard before the rain and wind. Thank god on snow yet. although they are getting it up North. Remember Joanne:rotfl::rotfl:.
Nancy says im to pickey I like a clean yard not full of leaves and whatever.
Joanne thats a beautiful picture of your tree.
Before I forget it the KENNEY family would like to wish everybody on the Board a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING and also for the upcoming Holidays. From our family to yours.

That's very nice. Looks a lot like a tree in our front yard except the leaves are long gone! Did you see my message about the DS getting his wife GArmin?

Good to see you over here, Mary! I've been keeping up with your thread as well. Wild weather up here!

ok I am sitting in front of my puter at work and I lack motivation.. lol All I can think about is what I still need to do for Christmas. I think I might book a couple of days off work so I can get it all done. Ack why is it when kids get older the things they want get more expensive??? :scared1:

Did Cadbury World make the Top Ten??? I know it's my first stop when I get to England!

I am feeling better today. I finally fell asleep (with Mr. Water Bottle, my best buddy :) )sometime after midnight and managed to sleep for about 5 uninterrupted hours before 'nature called'. The pain in my lower back is much better this morning. So things are moving in the right direction. I already called in sick, so it's me and the kitties on the couch today!

Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better:hug:

I vote for no 2 and 10:thumbsup2 ... although I agree - Cadbury World should have been on there too;)

I just got back from watching Ellis - his class was chosen for a dance festival at another school. It was lovely:cutie:

I originally wasnt going (for those of you who dont know I am a terrible driver ....well,.... parker actually:rolleyes1 ). I have no sense of direction whatsoever and get lost at the drop of a hat.

Neil had to work so I forced myself to drive somewhere totally new and find the school, then find a parking space:scared1:

I did it:yay:

I was panicking all the way there but,... I did it!:yay:

I know this seems extremely simple to most of you, but to me it was a great achievment:rolleyes1 ... I would normally have spent $50 each way on a taxi:rolleyes1

Dan and Nancy - I am having some New England clam chowder made by the Bar Harbor company of Whiting, Maine. For canned, it is really good! I hope you both are staying warm!

Hey Karen - I might not understand the magnitude of this accomplishment nor the gravity of the situation, but I commend you for overcoming this and making your way on your own!!!! Whay to go!!!:thumbsup2 :cheer2:  :yay:

Hello everyone. I am home with some "sort of sick" kids. In light of some of the stuff that our DIS friends are going through it is very very very minor.

Crappy weather here today. Thinking of those warm tropical breezes...

My hubby cant understand it either:rotfl:

He drives hundreds of miles each week with work and doesn't get why I panic so much on what he considers "small journeys":confused3

Hi Chris

Hope your "sort of sick" kids get better soon:hug: :wizard:

I know what you mean. At the school where Ellis went to today every child had some sort of disability.:sad1: Most in wheelchairs, some with tubes up their noses, and yet they were still having fun and joining in in their own way with the dancing. Their carers do an amazing job. I totally admire them all. I'd be in tears every day at the stuff some kids have to go through in a regular day.

It certainly brings you back to reality when you realize how lucky we are to have healthy (most of the time) kids

I really should be doing housework:rolleyes1

I was at school all morning, home long enough to make a sandwich then out to the other school all afternoon. The house is like a pig sty:rolleyes1

Hey Karen...hope all is well across the big pond.

Yeah the kids might have a little discomfort, but generally I think they are ok. They are DEFINITELY going to school tomorrow, especially since they only have a half day due to the holiday.

All is well over here - just freezing cold:sad2:

Roll on Florida!

Ellis has a tendancy to exaggerate his illness:lmao: - the other day he claimed he'd nearly cut his finger off... when I looked it was just a scratch:lmao: ... men.... they just cant take pain:rolleyes1
