Was getting worried hadn't heard from you since maybe THUR. BUSY? and an busy weekend? Laying on the beach reading books:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
DAN

It was wonderful. It was a little chilly for the beach but sitting on the porch with a book was nice. Ate and drank too much. Luckily all the ladies brought red wine and I don't like red. So after a few frozen drinks I was done. Stayed up too late. None of these other ladies work so they have all week to recover. I took a three hour nap yesterday afternoon.

It look slike I missed a lot of pages. Hope you had a nice week end.

O.K., feeling like "pigpen" from Charlie Brown right now.

:lmao: :rotfl2:

So, may I have a little “Dust Stuff” for our bride please? Kristin is sooooo sick with the flu right now. Poor kid took her first sick day from work...ever. The owner came in and told her to go home and rest up for the weekend. He’s paying her for Monday and Tuesday and said this weekend is more important than coming in to work. Jesse also got a surprise this morning. His boss gave him a week of paid vacation which he is not entitled to yet as a little gift to him. Sweet huh???

Thanks kids!

Poor girl! She's gotta get better for her big day!!! Here's some pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: for her!! And yay for Jesse!! :yay:

Sorry Mike, she's over here with me on the Dark Side :darth: ;)

Hi, sorry to jump in here, but I've just booked this trip for my husband and I.

We've been on a 3 night cruise before but this will be our first full week.
We're very excited!

I'm Arleen and my husband is Alex, it's just the two of us cruising. No kids.

:welcome: Welcome Aboard Arleen and Alex :welcome:

Don't let all the crazy postings scare you off, just jump in when you can and chat :thumbsup2

Have to brag about the sweet(sometimes) child I have raised. DS #1 's ex girlfriend called last week. They are still friends. Her Dad is really sick with cancer. They don't expect him to last long. They are up in Alabama at the family camp. That is where he wanted to send his last days. She asked Scott to come up for the week end to just be her friend. he was terrified. No one in our family has really ever been sick.

But he went. I haven't seen him but he called and said he was glad he did. Didn't get any of him homework done. But some things are more important. She had to go back to FSU for her grad classes and then back to Alabama for the holiday. I hope he makes it for her to return.

I was so proud of him.

Not West Virginia - here is a quote from a West Virginia paper dated 12/31/2007 - "West Virginia leads the nation in the percentage of adults who have had at least one permanent tooth pulled because of infection or decay, as well as the percentage of adults 65 and older with no teeth."

Now unless you want to end up without any teeth, you need to stick with Georgia Tech. The space shuttle that was just launched includes 3 Georgia Tech grads in the crew. Your choice, rocket scientists, or toothless old people?

New evidence in: September 2008 article states:

"West Virginia has the highest rate of tooth loss in the country, with a third of residents 35 or younger having lost at least six permanent teeth."

I'm telling you - when they yell for their team their teeth fall out!

Better stick with Georgia Tech where I hear they may cure the common cold, invent a way to teleport from England directly to Orlando, and have a good football team. The total package!!!

Go Yellow Jackets! Go Clarets!

Glad to have you with us - the more the merrier!

I LOVED Blue Man Group  :lovestruc :cloud9: It is, by far, my favourite live show I have ever seen!

I wish they had different shows but the one in Florida is almost exactly like the one in Vegas. :sad2:

I don't think I have ever laughed harder in my life! Though, my sense of humour may be a little warped :rolleyes1

well lori:cutie: , i was going to suggest youngstown state(the penguins) or univ of akron(fear the roo) or kent state (robins school)(the golden flashes)
but i'm afraid to now.:scared: :scared:

what, no pancakes????

You silly! We don't wear pancakes to the beach. They are only for formal occasions! princess:

Hello everyone. I am checking in from a long day of driving in the van. I put my kettles out then had lunch with friends, then picked up a currency counter. Back now to fix dinner, then back out!

Welcome aboard! I am Chris, DW is Elaine and we are travelling with our DD 9 and DS 7. We are from Connecticut. If you would like to be added to the first page "cast of characters" list, send me a PM with your information. Most people list names of adults in the travelling party and just ages of children. Also listed is state/country of residence. Since I am very busy, a PM would probably be the best way to get me the information. :thumbsup2

Hey Chris! Looks like this thread may be coming to an end soon...

The white pizza with chicken & alfredo sauce must be a southern thing (Joanne mentioned this as well) or maybe one of those 'pizza chain' inventions. In NY/NJ/CT/PA, white pizza is multiple kinds of cheese, no sauce. Brocolli & spinach are also acceptable.

Chris or Andy please weigh in here.
I have no idea. I have never had white pizza before. I only eat pizza with sauce on it unless it is Buffalo Chicken or BBQ chicken.

Especially with all of the recent posting! You people are too fast!!!! I don't know if I will be able to set up a new one. Maybe this evening or early morning tomorrow I can.

You raised him well, Joanne!

HI Arleen.

Welcome to the B.O.B.

We move quickly around here, but don't let that scare you away. Just jump in at any point. Ask as many questions you'd like. One thing we love to talk about around here is Disney and DCL.

I can take it this time Chris. With your work schedule, I don't want you to have any undo burden of keeping the first post up.

I think there are different kinds. I have seen the one I described as well as a chicken alfredo. We have some die-hard NY folks down here who say it can only be the scarmoza and mozzarella, but hey - the more variations the better; then there will be something for everyone!

Good morning. I've just been swamped at work lately. I am very hopeful that I'll be able to spend more time here after the first of the year. I even missed being on for the "One Year Out" day. I thought of it on October 25th! :confused3

I am really looking forward to our trip next week to WDW though. Any other DISsers going to be down there between 11/27 & 12/05?

Matthew

I wish we were going down! We will be crewing for our son's 50K on 12/6. One thing I love about going down as empty nesters - we can take out time and enjoy the crowds - no need to feel like we have to hurry and get it all done!

You can keep your apple baby slop;) ..... I'll stick to cheesecake and wine .... they're the items that save my life on a daily basis:rotfl2:

I lvoe the term apple baby slop! I'm all for the cheesecake and wine myself or heck, jsut make it wine and cheese - that will work for me.

Just loaded Ellis into the car to take him to Beavers and its dead:rolleyes: ...

totally dead... ... bloody battery:mad:

I cant even be bothered to call the AA:rolleyes1

Neil can do it when he gets home.:rolleyes1

Oh I am SO sorry! I hope it is all fixed soon.

Oh yes, do you?

Apple sauce on the same fork with pork - absolutely!

Good morning! I was not able to be on the boards most of the weekend. Those darn family obligations. :confused3 I should have stayed home because it looks like I missed alot. I will get caught up eventually.

Same here - we spent most of the weekend in hockey rinks! There were so many posts since Friday I'm not going to try to catch up. Did I hear that your team won a championship or something? Our grandson's former high school team also won the Western class c title. They play for the state title Sat. ( Maybe Dan already said that since he's on the board more than I.) I have 3 subbing jobs this week so I won't be on much. So have a good week!
