 Welcome Arleen and Alex!

Special thanks  for the "Dust Stuff" for Kristin-Jeff, Cath, Kathy, Jen, Walt, Di, Heather, Rose, Mike, Joanne, Cass, Karen, Mimi and BR.

She's lost her voice completely now but is stocking up on the vitamin C and Zicam. Good thing this wasn't a few days later. She should be over the worst of it by Saturday. (I hope).

What's up with Smiley Girl?:confused3

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

I have a lot of reading to do, don't I?

I'll start with checking out all those links on page one.

And how do I send a PM CaptChris?

Arleen, you might be too new to send pm's to anyone. I think you may have to have a few posts under your belt first. I'm sure Chris would be more than happy to add your info from what you tell us here. :thumbsup2

Welcome Arleen and Alex. We're Paige and Rob and we're cruising with no kids also. Just jump right in.:goodvibes

Bad cold Sistah P.

Oh, no. The poor thing. Tea with honey and whisky? Warm salt water? You know us moms--we have to fix things.

How are you, sistah? Is Chuck getting a little nervous to walk down the aisle?

I'm doing just fine but getting excited now. Chuck is nervous and afraid he's going to cry. :lovestruc

And, I love the idea of tea with honey and whiskey. What should Kristin have? :lmao:

Chuck will cry. I've only spoken to him once I think and that was in a crowd with others talking (he probably has no idea who I am) but you can see the way he looks at his little girl----well, he'll cry, I think.

Do you think Tony will cry, too? Afterall he is seeing his little sis with his lifelong friend--double sentiment.

Isn't it great when you love your new son in law/daughter in law?:goodvibes

Tony and Kristin are VERY close and I'm sure he'll get a little misty eyed too. Bets are he won't get through the toast without crying.

I keep asking Jesse if he thinks he's going to cry and all he says no but I think different.

We're such a bunch of schmoopies. :sad1:

Arleen, if Chris doesn't get you up on page 1, PM me. Better yet, just copy us both.

However, you won't be able to PM until you get 5 or 10 posts. I can't remember which.

Yes, congrats Mimi! You need to start working on your poem for Karen. She will probably expect more from you, since you are an English teacher ;)

Sonnet 1000

Shall I compare posting to a boring day?
It is fun and educational
Board slow-downs do not make my strong will stay
Alas I find post counts relational
Sometime too bold some posts of members seem
But of course I hope it’s all said in fun
There are members longwinded whose posts stream
With my multi-quotes sometimes I am one
But my enthusiasm shall not fade
Nor lose sight of the friends I’ve made on here
For knowing folks before the cruise fare’s paid
Made cruising last time a delight, that’s clear
So while I can I’ll post and meet new chums
And hit 1000 more ‘fore the cruise comes.

Oh how sweet - really all of these posts talkign about Daddy and brother are so sweet. I hope it all goes well. You must post lots of pictures.

Omg..who's missing Mimi? We sure don't want to leave anyone out. :sad2:

Oh I think it is more a matter of folks who have not sent in pictures or whatever. I know there are several with no pictures. I have not seen Team Fun Pants post at all, and Big Red isn't listed as such on the names nor does she have a picture. There is another one on the cast page that I haven't seen post, but I can't remember who that is right now.

You're braver than I am - I was so far behind reading the posts that I just started with today - hope I didn't miss anything important.

The hockey games with our Vermont friends was fun - we had a good visit. The team was 1-1-1.

Our Jason won one & lost one. He had the only goal in the loss & an assist in the other game.

How do you get 9 days off? Must be a long Thanksgiving break. I'm working 3 days this week, 1 in 2nd & 2 in 1st.

It sounds like you had a lovely weekend. I know the grandkids might not realize how lucky they are to have you there, but again - you set a great example, and I know you love the time you spend with them.

I'll have to get the link to the Friends of the Bash page again. I forgot we had that and maybe some are on that instead.

Well kids, I'm going to leave the office now. I'll check back with you guys later.

Will we be finishing up this thread tonight?
