O.K., now I've seen this reported both ways. Is "white" pizza with chicken and alredo sauce or the other way that was mentioned? :confused3

I had ordinary pizza on Saturday night. It was goooooood.

The white pizza with chicken & alfredo sauce must be a southern thing (Joanne mentioned this as well) or maybe one of those 'pizza chain' inventions. In NY/NJ/CT/PA, white pizza is multiple kinds of cheese, no sauce. Brocolli & spinach are also acceptable.

Chris or Andy please weigh in here.

Official white pizza definition from Wikipedia: & a white pizza F.O. to boot!
White pizza (pizza bianca) uses no tomato sauce, often substituting pesto or dairy products such as sour cream. Most commonly, especially on the east coast of the United States, the toppings consist only of mozzarella and ricotta cheese drizzled with olive oil and spices like fresh basil and garlic. In Rome, the term pizza bianca refers to a type of bread topped with olive oil, salt and, occasionally, rosemary leaves.

Morning Matt. Forgive me but I havent been able to follow real close lately. Were are you headed to? Seems like everyone has been going someplace.

Mark

We're heading down to WDW on Thanksgiving Day. We'll try to make the drive in one day from Virginia (DC Area) to WDW. Most of our time will be at OKW this trip.

Matthew

Jeff - you getting snow there. Its almost a white out here. Ground is getting covered with 1 inch flakes.

Midwest and most of the others except Airtran should be out at 330 days, so very soon.

Airtran is anyones guess. They put their schedule up about 7 months out, but it could be there at any time. I wouldn't expect to see it until at least February, but I could be wrong on that. Just keep checking them if you want to fly them.

If you guys go out of O'Hare, check out United. They seem to run some good fares every so often from ORD to MCO.

See, I knew you'd know....:thumbsup2

We're not terribly picky - I will be checking Madison, Milwaukee, and Chicago (all airports). Each has pros and cons.

The major con for Madison is that there are no direct flights - but it is just SO easy to fly out of there. Milwaukee isn't bad either, but I'm nervous about booking Midwest right now.

We're flying United from Chicago in December, so we'll see how that goes. :goodvibes

I also need to make the decision about MNSSHP before I book plane tix...I'm still on the fence.

How long are you guys down for Matthew? Should be dead down there after that weekend.

I can tell you I'm NOT going to be booking Midwest for this cruise. Had enough headaches with them before the Repo. I'll take Airtran changing the times on me, as long as I know there is a flight.

Matthew,

Nice to see you on the boards. How have you been?

Good morning. I've just been swamped at work lately. I am very hopeful that I'll be able to spend more time here after the first of the year. I even missed being on for the "One Year Out" day. I thought of it on October 25th! :confused3

I am really looking forward to our trip next week to WDW though. Any other DISsers going to be down there between 11/27 & 12/05?

Me either. I try not to go when there are crowds. Even the end of October is starting to get crowded. I love when the waits are never more than 20 minutes.

I would love to be down there around 12/5, but it is a big fund raising event for us on the 6th. Can't get away. Plus, Suz works for one of the major national retailers and can't have off in Nov or Dec. She actually has to go into the office this Sunday.

Matthew,

You still working out in the Dulles area? Is that a permanent gig or just a long-term contract?

I heard about that....which is why I don't want to book them.

We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I guess its long term. I'll probably be here until I retire. I've got 7 years in already. This is my third airport, and probably the one I'll stay at.

I can understand that....I am crossing my fingers that things go well for us in DL- we will be there on peak days 12/22 and 12/23!!! :scared1:

But it's better than not going at all.....:goodvibes :thumbsup2

It's been years since we were there during the slow times. Since our girls are in school, we have been relegated to Summer for the most part. This trip and our cruise next October will involve pulling them out of school for a week. After that, it will be too hard as Megan gets beyond 7th grade.

We have my brother and his wife, my sister, and my cousin joining us for the trip. I have only reserved the Grand Villa at OKW one other time. It was great. You can't beat the point cost either. We will have it Sun-Thu night only. The first three days, we will stay at All Star Movies.

My sister doesn't "do lines" very well, so this should be an enjoyable and stress free trip for her. The kids will also hold up better with less standing around.
