What's next summer?

We're going to Vegas and Utah next June!

Cheryl, did you book your tickets for next summer?

Yep we now have 1 way tickets to Vegas Now I'm trying to decide how to split our first week up. I have been voted down on going to the Grand Canyon, neither Al or Rachel want to go. It would be a 5.5 hour drive to the north rim from Vegas on our way to UT and then another 3.5 hours to the area in UT we are planning on staying while we tour Bryce and Zion so I guess I can see their point. Like Al said, that's a long drive just to see a big hole in the ground

Isn't the north rim overlook in one of those parks?

I thought the glass floor building was on the north and in or just south of one of the parks.

The north rim is in AZ and both those parks are in UT at least 2 hours away. I'm not sure where the glass floor building is, I think it is along the western area of the Grand Canyo. I'll have to find my AAA book again.

One way to Vegas? how you getting home?

Airtran only has their flights out for our dates heading there but not for our return trip so we will have to wait to book the return flight, or maybe we'll just stay out there
