The last time I was at Disney at Christmas time was in 1973 when there was just the Magic Kingdom. I never heard of the CP. Can I see pictures somewhere Mimi??:confused3
Nancy G., I have never been at Christmas. I have only seen friends' pictures. I bet you could Google it or better yet, I bet some of our DIS friends have pictures they can share!

Don't have any of those left. ;)

Just hope Beef's makes it.

Whew.:goodvibes

Heading over to google it now. I'll let you know if I find something worth sharing. :thumbsup2

Why Applebee's? Are they in trouble too?

Nancy K

No, not that I know of. Jeff and his DW got an Applebees GC from us awhile ago and I was just teasing him about making sure his still works. :cool1:

Although their service, at least in Pewaukee, has gone downhill.

Plus, with Beef's, Buffalo Wild Wings and 5 Guys opening up right there, they aren't getting the business they use to. You can walk in now on a Saturday night if you wanted.

Pinch, poke you owe me a coke.

The Candlelight Processional is really beautiful -I think it's one of the best things about Disney at Christmastime. Rita Moreno was the narrator the night we saw it and she was awesome, she was soooo into it!

We did our Christmas trip in the beginning of December (my brother & I actually took our parents as their present) and it was great. The lines were shorter and we still got to se everything Christmas. My brother and my Dad did the Christmas Backstage tour and they said it was awesome! I would love to do it again sometime.

OK guys, I'm signing off for the night. Need to clean out the cobwebs and get ready for bed. Catch ya later...........:wave2:

I really wish I could get to WDW at Christmas, but my career just doesn't allow it. Oh well, maybe in retirement. :lmao:

Hi All........

I was just getting ready to make this post when I received a PM from MG, so I answered her PM first.

The past two days at work have been crazy. I read meters in the morning, then from 12:30-3:30 we have been having Basic First Aid and CPR/Airway Obstruction classes. These classes are required, for all employees of the Water/Sewer Department by OSHA.

I am now certified in giving CPR and Basic First Aid. Please, all I ask, don't have a heart attack or choke on anything near me. Although I can perform these duties, I'd really rather not have to do it. Stay Healthy ;)

The classes were very informative and I learned a great deal.

Been dealing with some other extended family matters as well since arriving home from work today, which has limited my internet time.

Congrats on the CPR and 1st aid. Trust me, if you are ever placed in a position to perform CPR the training comes back to you right away. Hopefully you will never need it but you are ready if you do.

This makes me think of the saying 'buyer beware.' I keep wondering how solvent are the stores where I shop/buy giftcards for the teens in my life?

BEST BUY

Just got back from taking our nephew to Logan's Steakhouse for his 18th bday. Man, they grow up fast. As the favorite aunts, we had to do something for him since both of his parents are working tonight. We will have family bday party for him on Sunday.

Andy- :grouphug: Hope everything turns around for your family.

Nan & Dan- my favorite childhood memories usually involve my grand parents. Sounds like so will your grandkid's.

Annette :)

serenity now!!!

i went to school with a girl named serenity.:cutie:

Nice Pic. Took me a bit to recognize the view.

Just a philosphy I have all on my own. Remember, I drink just Diet Coke. I don't switch to Kool-Aid like some Diet Pepsi drinkers do. ;) :rotfl:

Flippin' hilarious. Actually there are a few others in the world that like Diet Coke as well. ;)

congrats on the CPR, Andy. I've been re-upping all of my certifications lately too. I, like you, would rather no one drop in front of me.
