Tough lesson to learn

He did say he won't lie again about being in trouble.

We told him, if he came to us the day it happened, he'd only lose t.v., computer, and Wii for that night. Which he got after the brutal punishment when he came to us.

It was good. I had chicken parm and Rob had calzone. You know, you can't beat gift certificates in this economy. After dinner, we went to Borders and had coffee (another gift card I had.)

Actually you can. Cash is king. Suz' boss had a $200 gift card to Circuit City. Tried to use it the morning after the announcement of bankruptcy. Wouldn't take it.

Be careful where you buy your gift cards this year people. May be best to buy VISA Gift Cards (or any other brand you like).

Mad and frustrated only because you and my DS are cheats. You wouldnt tell us the cheat code to get the tennis ball to smash off the racket!! Chuck and I were tripping over each other trying to get out of the way of the tennis ball that was wizzing by us at 200mph!!!!

Sorry, like my Big Daddy said earlier tonight, if I had a gc to a store and they don't honor it, we are walking out with something (or calling the cops)......

If someone gives me cash, I will probably spend it on something for the family or a bill, not an anniversary dinner. Case in point, Rob's parents sent us $30 for our anniversary. That will go to pay for school t-shirts.

Hey, I think the store is stealing from the people. The willfully took the cash/charge when they sold the card. That money is in their account. They should honor card.

Why not go in yourself then, pay with check, and then stop payment. Same difference, right?

As I recall though - Chuck and I whopped up on the basketball court. And that was with a real ball and a real basket!! No cheat codes when it comes to putting the ball in the hoop!

It's a hard lesson to learn for sure. But we feel the same way here. If I catch them in a lie, I throw the book at them. So far, it works....HaHa I think.....
