The winds came from the North so Jeff's leaves never made it over this way. Again, counterfeit....all counterfeit! You have to wonder if Penny Packer was involved somehow.

Last day of my vacation and I finally slept in until 5:30 this morning..........

Geeez, that was 1 1/2 hours after the boys staggered in. Thankfully, Chuck was the designated driver.

April & I do Stampin' Up cards. Yesterday it was Christmas cards. We pooled our resources & creativity to see if we could get in the spirit...... The grandkids call us Nana & Grampa...... Our youngest son is 31. The other 2 (the ones with the kids) are 37 & 39. The grand kids are 19 next week, 15, 12, almost 6 (the only girl), & 2 1/2. Think that answers all your questions & then some! Have a good Sunday!

Congratulations Aunt Karen! The children of those best friends, or sisters God gives us, can be some of the most fun "aunting" through the years. I am thankful for my "sister" and thier children who call me Aunt. Have fun shopping for something blue!!!

Good morning everyone...

Sam was right on the line of not being allowed to ride the tube slides. Some of the lifeguards let her and others told her she was too small, so she was upset as she had a lot of fun on them before being "banned" She is just about 48 inches so it was a matter of perspective I guess for the park staff.

One other thing...Jay also got over his fear of waterslides!!!!! I had to text my sister to tell her the good news and her reply was, "he will be good for the Mickey slide then."

I'm glad both the kids got to have some fun on the water slides! Jay will grow up faster than one can imagine, so if he was a little slower at getting over that, so be it. I am glad he will enjoy the Mickey slide more though! Glad you got some sleep too!

I love Stampin' Up! It's fun. I bet you made some beautiful cards and whata great thing for yout o do with your DIL!!!! You're just the best. Okay, so the sons are too old, but Liv turns 19 next week - so the grandkids???? She'd kill me for even mentioning it.

Just checkin' in with everyone. This is where my life gets very busy. I'm trying to score enough OT to make sure that we have a very Merry Christmas, at the same time I need to have enough time off to put up my Christmas lights.
The first lights are going up today. I have just a small amount of fabrication left to do and I'm officially done with building my displays. As far as synchronization goes... I have only two peices left and one is nearly done. (I may do more after the lights are up)
I got a great bit of news earlier this week. Since having to move our WDW vacation to February, I've also been doing a fair amount of planning. I was also watching the Feb code watch thread and sure enough a discount came through. With the new buy 4 and get 3 days free promotion, I was able to save $500 AND get a $200 Disney Gift Card. I was so flippin excited! I had thought of upgrading to WL rather than POR but they said that I couldn't do it (not sure if that is true or not) Regardless, I decided that I liked the cheaper vacation more! We're going to surprise the kids on Christmas with the News.
I've also been watching the plane fares for our Cruise, now that I need to buy a set of tickets. I noticed the the flight will cost me about $400-475 pp if I fly on the Friday before the cruise. (sometimes I see it cheaper but not very often) But If I fly to MCO on the Thursday before the cruise I can get the flight as low as $300!!!!! Now with a saving of about $100-175 pp I can fly out a day early! I went ahead and booked the Radisson for the two nights before the cruise (they gave me the BOB'er discount) and am looking forward to spending a great day next to that wonderful pool. (We may tour John Kennedy Space Center too)

It's in Waterbury, CT at the Holiday Inn, but I am pretty sure there is an indoor waterpark in North Conway at the Red Jacket Inn. My mom was telling me about it. I also heard there is one in Danvers, Massachusetts as well. They are literally popping up all over.

Wow! North Conway & Danvers are certainly doable for a day trip. I'll keep it in mind & maybe even google it. m Thanks.

Stampin' Up is a company that sells stamps, paper, & lots of accessories for making cards. You can also buy card making supplies at places like AC Moore, Michaels, & other craft stores. If you want more info check out the website - just google it.
