Yup first cruise ever. My wife was due in November when we were suppose to go on the 10/20/07 cruise, but we decided to cancel and not take a chance on giving birth on a cruise ship.

Hi Steve. I watched the video just a little bit ago. It is great. I love the treasure chest with "jewels". I agree with Cass that I love anything that twinkles or sparkles.

Thanks! I felt that the treasure chest was inspired. I didn't want to gather up a bunch of trinkets and spray paint them gold. (call me lazy) And I had some extra christmas lights laying around. I set them up with 4 channels and set them at random twinkle. Ended up looking fantastic.

For those of you staying on after the cruise to attend MNSSHP, where are you planning to stay? I'm wondering if I should get something closer to MK...

We are going to stay at AKV for that Sat, Sun and Mon and then come home on Tues. Stay over there with us.

Hey Steve - Have you ever used any Trans-Siberian Orchestra music in your displays? I hear they are having a contest this year for people that synchronize their Christmas displays to their music.

Kathy, suppose you go into MK (or another park on a park hopper pass) earlier in the day can you still get into MNSSHP for the evening? Say if you've been in there all day?

Nope. They give you a bracelet if you have a MNSSHP ticket. At 7 PM they go around and kick anyone out that''s not wearing a bracelet.

Hmmm. That's a possibility. I was thinking of renting a car for the way back from the port, so that would solve the transporation issue...

I just had a crazy question pop into my head....

We're organizing a trick-or-treat on board sometime during the week, since we all debark on the 31st. I'm assuming the rooms (or most of the rooms participating) would bring candy to hand out. So here's the question....

Are we going to have problems bringing the kids' trick or treat candy through Customs?
