Nancy G did send me the crock pot cookbook. It's got something like 250 crock pot recipes! I can email it to you if you would like a copy.

So here's a picture of something I've been working on this afternoon. I needed lots of guidance from a very special BOBer but here is the end result:

My kids still get St Nick presents. Tradition in my family is that my brother and I used my dad's WWII boots for St Nick to drop off goodies. The rule is is that you keep getting gifts from St Nick until you have a child of your own and then he/she takes over. Since my brother never had children he passed his boot onto his Godchild, my Kristin.

Since it's getting harder and harder to get them stuff (my kids don't eat candy) I thought I would stick a Disney Gift Card behind each lanyard for the cruise next year. They'll be getting these lanyards, the GC, movie passes, dated ornaments, silly putty (they get one EVERY year), Fruit Roll-ups and some nuts. Stacy and Jesse don't have boots but they have their own stockings here for their gifts.

Anyone else have any fun holiday traditions they'd like to share?

Can I have one?? especially with the gift card

*'Put them back. We can't afford it,' says the wife and they carry on shopping.... *

A few aisles later the woman picks up a $20 jar of face cream and sticks it into the trolley. *

What do you think you're doing?' asks the man,

'It's my face cream.. It makes me look beautiful,' she says.

The man replies... 'SO DOES 24 CANS OF BUDD AND IT'S HALF THE BLOODY PRICE'

Just popping in to say hello and apologize for not checking in yet with this thread. I've been so busy with work and the kids and then in trying to get my September TR finished I've not been posting much. I have been reading Cass and Brenda's TR threads, though, but not posted to them.

Just wanted to post links to the next two days of our September report.

After what transpired over the weekend, then again this morning, it is with a heavy heart that I share that Hazel and I have decided to cancel both our May 2009 and October 2009 cruises.

I sent an e-mail to Sue Ellen at Dreams Unlimited earlier this morning asking her to cancel our reservation, if anyone is interested in either SPH connecting staterooms 5522 or 5524 for the BOB cruise, feel to contact her and see if they are still available. My mom had me cancel her reservation as well this morning.

Sorry to be a downer on a Monday, but we really had no choice in the matter.

I wish all of you nothing but a MAGICal time next October.

Oh no Andy....I was so looking forward to meeting you, Hazel and Lina. I hope everything works out OK. Don't forget to pop by and continue nattering with us.

Too funny. I would like an Autrailian man talking out of ours. That female voice gets annoying.......

I have the navagation system and it is a boring American male voice. It is like having Tommy tell me where to go when I am driving and sometimes I will go the other way just to hear it tell me I am wrong. I am waiting for it to start cussing at me any day.

I am taking a break from raking. Its cold outside and breezy which is making it hard to put my tarp down to put the leaves on.

Its been absolutely horrible here today, torrential rain at times and very strong winds. Tomorrow is supposed to be better.

How beautiful is Lake Tahoe!? Two TV programmes here in the UK on Sunday had pictures from the Lake and I have to say that it was so picture-esque (SP!).

That is my favorite place. Skiing is great. If you go the the Squaw Valley and heavenly Valley web sites they have live web cams. Just gorgeous.
