Where's this Chris? And if I could see that it was a tree then perhaps, yes a prize to you too.

I do believe that is the world famous Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center in NYC. Folks around here just refer to it as 'the tree'. So, if you say 'I'm going to the city to see the tree' it means you are going to NYC to see the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center. There is another rather famous Christmas tree at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. That's referred to as 'the other tree'. Don't forget to pick up some roasted chestnuts to munch while viewing 'the tree'.

If I'm right, do I get a prize???

I missed you Nancy! :sad1:

Awwww, that was sweet Kathy.

I'm ok, just a little crazy busy these days.

Last night my little bride was in an accident. She was rear ended on her way home from work. She drives a 2008 Scion and so did the lady who hit her. She's ok, they both are, just some more scary poo to add to my plate.

Oh, Nancy, what a shame! Thank God she's OK! But once you past that, it's always upsetting to have an accident with a new car.

Sounds like you need  and :pixiedust:

Thanks for the cyber hugs Kathy. She was fine last night but I'm wondering how she will feel this morning. I'm sure I'll find that out that she is a little sore. Hopefully that is it. She said she got hit so hard that she thought her trunk would be in her back seat. Amazingly though, neither car suffered too much damage. They both have those plastic bumpers. :)

Good morning everyone. I am up and online to try to find a Dunkin Donuts near the hotel so I can get some breakfast for the family. We will go to the Waterpark around 10 and spend the day there. I am going to take lots of pictures so I will post them when we get home tonight.
Lovely Chris...tell me this is from last year or have you got you're tree up already?

Ok this answers my question. You get the prize for the ealiest tree I've seen this year.

Yuletide Greetings one and all.
Yes it is the company/corporate Christmas Party. All of us will be getting very busy in the next week or so, so we always have the party in late October early November. I don't really get into the spirit of things, but its great for the kids. Jay got Lego Batman PS2 game, and Sam got a huge Littlest Petshop playset. Elaine and I got gift cards. Its great to be with friends and colleagues in a non business environment with our families. The food was good too. When it was announced that the hotel staff would be "sending" us to the buffet, I looked at them, smiled, and gave them a thumbs up. We went first! I will have to try that again in the future!

I was thinking the same thing! It does indeed look like the Rock.

Looks like there's still lots of availability but prices have gone up a bit. :scared:

Another option (not always available though!) is to try to upgrade at the port :thumbsup2 It will be WAY cheaper than doing it in advance but you take your chances because they often sell out and don't offer any upgrades. But you have a cat 12 GTY, so I would hold off if I were you, you may get a free upgrade to a 9 (window) next year. I know Mike & Robin and others got it :thumbsup2

yep.:thumbsup2 got a "free window" last year.:woohoo: :woohoo:

if memory serves me though, we were beaten out by a lovely canadian lady
for an upgrade on the 2005 cruise.:cutie: :cutie:

I am glad you posted. I was getting worried about you and Robin. I just said to Walt we need to PM Mike and Robin to make sure they are okay then I read and find a post from Big Red then you. Thank goodness. Di

been busy. takes longer to recover from vacations than it used too.:sad2:

Not what you need so close the wedding. Glad she is OK:hug:

We had our District Managers in the store on Monday for the Holiday walk. So, that was a lot of work. I'm also in charge of a after hours shopping event at our store on this coming Sunday. Very busy but a good busy. Keeps me out of trouble.

I can't believe that we only have 3 weeks until Black Friday! Yikes!!

Thanks for asking :)

Annette

Hey Annette - I'm sure you heard, but Mack and I have been discussing how happy Best Buy must be that all the Circuit City stores in the Atlanta area are closing. Is that happening in other places of which you're aware? This must be good for Best Buy!!!!
