Good morning/afternoon all....

I am also still messed up from the time change...I really need a nap right now! :rotfl2: :lmao:

Anyway, just thought I'd say Hi...gotta go get some work done now :surfweb:

Good morning everyone...

My system is all screwed up. I am still going to bed an hour earlier and waking up an hour earlier. I was tossing and turning from about 5:45 am on this morning.

I am hoping I might be able to get by with only one breakfast this morning. The last couple of days, I have ate breakfast at home, then around 10 am, I am starving again and I make a trip to Dunkin Donuts to get a breakfast sandwich! It's this prednisone! Only two more days dosage.

How's the ivy Chris?

Usually takes me a few days to a week to get adjusted to the time change, I was up at 4am this morning thinking it was 5am.........

Howdy Miss Karen Mouse.......

Well howdy Mr Verandah:goodvibes - I took my example from you this morning and did a 550 calorie workout... my tired legs dont thank you though:rotfl2:

Yeah, they drove around the neighborhood. That was much easier than me pulling them in a wagon like usual.

That is a brilliant idea - drive by treating:lmao: ... knowing my luck the battery would die miles from the house and I'd end up carrying the car and the child back home:rolleyes:

Karen - Thanks for the comments on the pictures. And as to land in England - I was only in London and a tad bit outside; I don't remember anything like those pictures over there, but I I think I always guessed I just didn't see it. Thanks for filling me in and educating me once again! I love learning!!!!!

Our country is pretty much filled up:rolleyes: ... we do have parks etc but not miles and miles of nothing like you do. Even the very large houses by us are being demolished and blocks of apartments are being put up in their place. I cant comprehend driving for miles and not seeing anyone or anything:eek: We're much more squished up over here. I think this smilie kind of describes most of England well:crowded: :crowded:

I'm going to add another question to that one....would it be worth it to go to MNSSHP if my DS has never been to any of the WDW parks? Or would it be just too much to take in?

Jen, you'd get to the Magic Kingdom fairly early on departure day so you'd have a good few hours before they close the park anyway - I think its 7pm??

The mnsshp was great - we did it for the first time last year. There would be a LOT for Thomas to take in, although the crowds would be better than a normal day if you did the MNSHHP. It may be a bit overwhelming. All the decorations would be up for Halloween anyway, perhaps just get the regular entrance ticket and get there straight after you get off the ship. We were exhausted that evening anyway because of getting up so early that day that I dont think we'd do justice to the MNSHHP ticket - we'd probabvly be in bed by 9.30pm!

Time to go and get cleaned up a bit so I don't stink out the movie theatre this afternoon........:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :wave2:

My fear is being tired, but I think we will be on adrenaline once we get there and ride our favorite rides and see the festivities.

Maybe we will take it a little more easy getting off the ship as well that morning.

Holy cow Steve! - And theres me thinking my one pumpkin was sufficient:rotfl2:

Thats amazing:worship: :worship: :worship:

Great job Steve!!! Can't wait to see your Christmas light display!!!

Steve - I've never seen anything like that for Halloween - WOW!!!

This is amazing!!! Thanks for sharing!

b/t/w what do your neighbors think of this? ;)

Thank you all! In answer to your question, I've never been one to decorate for halloween. I put up a few things once I moved onto this my street because so many on this street decorate pretty heavily. Last year was my first year with computer control because I was testing out my hardware in preparation for Christmas. This year I did it just for fun. Like I said many on my street already decorate quite a bit. One guy down the street has a mini haunted house constructed in his front yard. Now, just to give you some background, I live on a street that is referred to as "Christmas Tree Lane" during the month of December. In the 1960's there was a friendly rivalry between homeowners as to who could decorate the best for Christmas. It turned into a tradtion which has pretty much the entire county driving up and down our street every night during December. Some residents love it some hate it but we all do it. I just happened to up the ante with computer control.

A question for you all:

For those of you staying on after the cruise to attend MNSSHP, where are you planning to stay? I'm wondering if I should get something closer to MK...

If I do MNSSHP then I'll probably get a room for the night at the wilderness lodge. But I haven't decided on that yet. BTW does anyone know if I get tix for MNSSHP do I also have to buy park admission or is that included?

MNSSHP and MVMCP both include your admission to the park for the party, which begin at 7 PM, I believe. If you have an AP or a regular park admission, you can go into the park early and just go and pick up your bracelets to stay on for the party. Halloween is considered a 'premium' date for MNSSHP, so ticket prices are slightly higher and sell out almost the day they go on sale. I'm sure we'll all be posting when the tickets go on sale.

Kathy,

Without an AP, when would be the earliest we could get in the gates for MNSSHP?? I remember reading that Cass and Rob were able to get in at 4, does that seem right?

Yes, I checked Deb Wills site and it looks like they will let you in at 4 PM with a MNSSHP ticket. You will get a bracelet and a t-o-t bag. At 7 PM, they kick everyone out who is not wearing a bracelet. Here's a nice link:
