Angelina didn't turn her desktop off soon enough, her tower got fried. The livingroom desktop and my laptop are fine. I guess we will be taking Lina's computer to the shop.

Right after I made my post above, our electric went out for about five minutes.

We had hail with the latest storm that went through, we haven't seen hail around here in a long time.
OH NO!!!!!!!

Don't overdo it Andy. BTW, do you have a total of the number of calories you've burned off since going to the club?:worship:

Not a running total, I try to burn off at least 325-350 each morning during the week and more on the weekends when I can put a longer workout in. Today I burned off a little over 325 calories during my 45 minute workout.

Gotta get out the door for work now folks. Still raining with thundershowers predicted for most of the morning.

:wave2:

Oh I've been dreaming of food month in advance of the Repo, does that count?
YOu and Brenda aren't the only ones who dream of food (and booze, in my case):

I can't post from work, so don't look for fluff from me ... I actually have to get work done while I'm at my desk now.

OK B, you're excused today. :sad1: I'm bringing my laptop from home along today and will play around in photoshop for a bit too. I'm working on something for the first BOB meet. That will probably take me all day whereas Cass would have it done in ....hmmmmm....5 minutes!!! :rolleyes1

Other locations we're looking at would be:

Niagara Falls, with a stop in Hershey, PA

Now if it was San Fran with a stop for Ghiradelli's.......

Wait a minute...I know who's going there soon..........Chris:banana: :yay:

I heard that WDW is going back to ADR's 6 mos out! And theirs rumors that placing them may be internet based:dance3: No... you're not the only one thinking of food this far out.

They're implementing a new reservation system but no details have been released about it. Until some time late in January 2009 ADRs can only be made 90 days out instead of the usual 180 days. After this mysterious new system is complete they will revert back to 180 day dining reservations.

Here's my dining conundrum for our after BOB WDW adventure:

There's three places that I think that I want to try for dinner.
Liberty Tree Tavern I saw this restaurant on this thread and on one of the Seasons of Disney episodes and really liked it.
Cinderella's Castle (Last time we were there Leah was one and she had such a fit (overtired) that Laura had to leave with her and miss the meal.)
California Grill (for the fireworks show)

Problem is... We are there for only 5 days. If I have a rest day then we only have 1 day/park But I will need to be at the MK for three dinners! I'm thinking that we'll need a shortened stay at one of the parks and eliminate the rest day for another day at MK and that will give me the three dinners that I need. Or I'll have to give up one of my dining plans. Decisions. Decisions.

Steve, if you're thinking of LTT for the character interaction dump it - the character aspect of this meal is being stopped as of the first week of January 2009. They'll still offer lunch and dinner but no furry Disney friends to make it more fun.

Haven't tried Cinderella's Caste so I can't give you any thoughts on that one, but as for California Grill ... don't go just for the fireworks. They have incredible food and service there ... yum!

And as for watching fireworks from their observation deck or even inside the restaurant ... we think it's overrated. The place gets packed with people who are trying to eat during the show or all the earlier diners who come back to watch ... it's like a cattle call and we don't care for it one bit. But a lot of people swear by it and it's worth seeing at least once so you can make up your own mind.

Have we decided on a theme for the DIS tag? Last I heard we were throwing around the idea of Christmas ornaments. Was that decided?

I'm casting a strong "NO" vote on that one. I'd much prefer to let people make up their own minds about what they want to leave for tag.

Thanks neighbor. Love the flag. Sounds like too much fun Becky. How about the rest of you REPOBOB's?
We will be taking Algae with us (Planky's coucin from the UK)

Talofa Tall Ship in Cabo St Lucas
Extreme Amphibian Adventure in Puerto Vallarta
City Tour and La Quebrada Cliff Divers in Acapulco
City Tour, La Popa and Shopping in Cartagena
Half day jeep and beach in Aruba

With 9 great people at dinner and lots of activities round the ship as we're not really 'pool' people. Lots of quizzes...we love trivia

Was that detailed and boring enough for ya neighbor?;)
5 dayer list is the 5 day Magic Cruise after the Repo. Oh and get this they have 113 cabins on their FE list.:scared1: 131 on the Repo:scared1: :scared1:

113:scared1: ....are they mad? I thought 131 was bad enough for the Repo. Are you one of the 113?

Why are you revamping? Are there big changes???

I posted a long incoherent explanation last night, but the short of it is that WDW dining isn't going to allow reservations until August 25th and they're not releasing program details until August 22nd. For people trying to finalize their travel and dining plans for a festival that begins on the last Friday in September this is just an asinine poilcy. And the events are all non-refundable now, too.

I just got tired of not knowing what we were or weren't going to be doing on our trip so I re-did everything so that we're covered for what we want and have pretty much written off all the special dining events but one or two .... depending on what the details look like when Skull and Bones, er I mean Disney, lifts the veil of secrecy.

BTW ... your food pics are making me hungry! :thumbsup2

Jen and Karen were organising this....can't remember what was decided.

The Gulf is on my list (i.e. Biloxi and Pensacola). I think we'll try closer first since it will be DS's first road trip. Been on flying trips about 20-25 times, but those are never over 4 1/2 hours.

Have you been up to the SE corner of TN at all?

Nope. Only been to Nashville. But every one I know who has has loved it.

Now if it was San Fran with a stop for Ghiradelli's.......

Wait a minute...I know who's going there soon..........Chris:banana: :yay:

You need to have the earthquake!!!

Nope ... look at Becky's signature, Nancy. Just above her vacation tickers is a link to her blog in blue - click it and be transported ... it's like maaaaaaagic. :lmao:
