Oh good Lord, I hope so...by the end of the day I am EXHAUSTED!! And I only have ONE kid!!! Just getting a diaper change is like a major event in this house

That is huge. Which airline are you looking at though? Just make sure it is one of the more stable ones, if there is such a thing.

I know I could probably find $200-$225 if I book early. Right now, we're looking at $313 with a connection for this October. So, $312.50 isn't a bad deal.

That was Delta. But even the other airlines were in the $360 range.

Just wanted to let you know that my Dad passed away around 2:30 AM this morning. He died peacefully in his sleep.

I got the call around 3 AM. We went down to the nursing home to be with Mom. We got her up so she could spend some time with him before they took him away.

Mom is doing ok. She's sad at times, but it tends to leave her mind occaisionally. I'm sure she'll be asking where he is from time to time.

It's been very hard, but I have such a feeling of relief. He is finally resting. Calling hours are Wed. evening with a grave side service Thurs. at 11.

We're hanging in there.

I was kinda kidding, there are other issues that will come up. But once they are out of the diaper, that makes it a little better when they are independent, but they want to push that new independence to the limit.

But with age, they will be better in communicating so you won't get the temper tantrums as much (but they'll still be there).

We only have one and at times, he is a handful. Wouldn't give it up for anything though.

Yeah, you're higher from out there. Not sure how Delta is doing. I don't think too good, but then again, who is. My SIL works for them. I thought they went through a restructuring recently. I know they like to cancel flights though.

I'm trying to think, they may be the ones looking to buy out NWA. I can't remember.

I have profoundly deaf and I wear my hearing aid (I cannot live without it) I love music too. I am going to see the film Mammia Mia tomorrow night.

I can speaking and I work for M&S.

My daughter is profoundly deaf too, she will be 9 in Oct, she have an cochlear implant which is very successful for her. She hear more than me and she speak very clearly than I. My husand is profoundly deaf with no speech!!

We have one hearing son 11 will be 12 next year.

Its my first day of no school runes and my first chance of a lie in and guess what happened..................














At 2am Neil sits bolt upright in bed and starts panicing. He's installing a printing press in his depot and supervising another guy. Well, apparantly these things have to be filled with water - Neil remembered turning on the hose but not turning it off and he was the last one out the building All the electrics are built into the floor so the whole building would have been out of action.

He grabs some clothes and goes flying out the house with a torch....forgetting he'd had 3 cans of cider that evening, so probably over the limit to drive........

He gets there and yes, the tap was turned off so no major flood.Phew!

He gets back home and I'm sitting reading and neither of us gets back to sleep til about 5am

This morning he had to go in and let the security guy know as he watches the security tapes each morning - at 2.10am he would have seen a car screech to a halt, a guy jump out, shine a light through the locked building and then leave - I bet they're all watching the cctv recording now and laughing

I think he's definately ready for a holiday

Well, its meant to be 25 degrees here today but a little overcast so really muggy and sticky. I have gardening to do so that wont be nice

I might just lie on my sunlounger and pretend I'm already on the beach

Last day for the gym too (if I can drag myself there )

Lina spent the night at her friend's house. She still wants to go with me this morning to Riverwinds, so I have to call her at 5:30 to wake her up, then leave here by 5:35 pick her up, then get to Riverwinds by 6am. I'm becoming a workout junkie.........

Evening everyone. Haven't caught up yet. We have had a busy couple of days. Just got home a little bit ago from Williamsburg. Yesterday we spent at Water Country USA. Sunday we went to VA Beach. I think we might let everyone rest a little tomorrow. We will post pics soon. Off to bed now.

We went to Water Country USA when Lina was about 7, we had a great day there!!!!!

I made the salad tonight, using lettuce, Jersey tomatoes, Jersey green peppers, celery, carrots and croutons, topped off with fat free Italian dressing. It was yummy Mel, if I do say so myself.....

I had salad for dinner last night, too! I also had a little fake chicken on top of it, too. It was good!

I've been LOVING watching Home Improvement reruns on Nick at Night from 9-10pm. I usually fall asleep at some point during those shows.
