10/24/2009 Bash on the Boat Cruise (I'm with BOB) Chapter #9

Spent most of the afternoon filling out an accident report, police report and making a visit to the township doctor all because some Poodle decided to take a chunck of my leg. Now I have to wait until the Board of Health calls and fill out a report for them as well. The homeowner thought his Poodles (2 of them) were out in the backyard, little did he know, he wife had let them in and the dogs were in the utility room where the water meter was located.

Needless to say, one of the Poodles is not fond of meter readers, or mailman, as I found out. The mailman was coming up the walk as I was leaving the house, he told me the same dog went after him before.

My leg is a bit sore and swollen around the bite area, but other than that, I feel OK. I should have a nice black and blue mark in a day or two. The dog had all his shots and is in good health, but the doc gave me some antibiotics to take just to be on the safe side. :thumbsup2

The joys of my job.........:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Ugh! Ouch!:scared1:

Check out this thread......http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1901951......make sure you don't be late........:lmao:

This is why my plan is to always be back on ship a minimum 1 hour before "all-aboard".

For Colombia, it will be a minimum 2 hours before. Don't want to chance being left behind there. This is actually going to be a get off, do the tour, get back on stop for me.

Now Aruba on the other hand. :rolleyes1

Hey Verandog Man, you doing o.k.?

Does this mean you get out of work tomorrow unde workman's comp?

Yeah, doing OK, just a little sore that's all. I also think I picked up a few fleas, been itching all night.....:lmao:

Nah, I was back to work after seeing the doc today, and will be back to work tomorrow morning.....

Calling it a night, good night all......:wave2:

I think Hazel is making me sleep on the floor tonight.........

Oh Becky, before I forget. I was talking with my mom the other day. She and Walt are planning on coming over to meet us on Mon. Sept 1st at OKW, we are indeed planning on going to the port area for dinner and watching the Magic sail away. I might bring one of my work "Safety T-shirts" to wear. If you are on deck 9 or 10 looking towards Grills or the park next to it, I'm sure you will be able to spot our group waving.

OK, I've got to get a move on it now.........:wave2:
ooo you mean you are giving me another excuse to make a sign.
Whoo hooo......

Hello Mike,i have to feel for Karen because but for the odd Heavy shower the weather here has been HOT HOT HOT:rotfl2:

Off to the range, back later Sir...:)
Interesting how you call hitting a bunch of golf balls a range. When my husband goes to the range he is shooting a Sig Sauer at targets, and pretty darn good at it to. :snooty:

not to worry. becky will make sure bigred keeps you guys in line.:worship:
Um, I'm sorry sir but what happens on the boat stays on the boat. Unless of course it is totally emabarrassing, then it is posted here, but you know how that goes huh Dawg.

Oh Andy hope you get better soon.

Highlights are the right word. Are we having a Red Dress night then, just for Dawg?
Yeah we kinda promised that...

:cool2: :cool2:
OOOOOOOOO, wait til I tell Big Red what you have been up to since you sent her away! You're in big trouble mister!

Just finished my Ham, Cabbage and Potatoes. Hazel asked if I wanted any dessert, I told her, for some reason I feel like having some Beggin' Strips or :dog:biscuits.......:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

How about a Scooby Snack :lmao:

Sean's cousin Anna was on Throwdown with Bobby Flay tonight. She works for a guy who is famous for paella. She made paella when we had the family get together after his grandmother had passed. It was very good! So if you can catch it watch it. She is the woman with the dark hair helping out.

Good evening all....

Sorry I've been a bit absent lately (not absent-minded, thank you) but work has been busy and will probably continue that way...um...forever.

I was also paid a very nice compliment, at least in my opinion. Someone saw the pic I had posted of my door from KK1 on one of the threads, and asked if I'd recreate one of my door signs for her! And, as the conversation progressed, I ended up volunteering to customize some of the blank designs that someone has in photobucket for anyone to use. So, for the past 2 1/2 hours I've been searching through clipart and designs and trying to make my computer do what I want it to! It's not easy!

speaking of miller girls. (hi heather)
wheres that other miller girl jen? she promised more pics.

Hi Dawg! Did you miss me?

I don't have many more pics of Door County - I thought I had more. But since I'm NOT going to post the pics from the beach with me in a swimsuit, that leaves only these:

Lunch at PC Junction - this is a really neat place on the middle of the peninsula...it has a wooden play train and other things for kids to play on outside.

The whole place has a train theme, and if you sit at the counter for your meal, your food is not brought by a waiter. It is brought by a remote control train!

OMG :scared1: If that had been me, that poodle would have been through the window or door, or any other opening to that room next. (Of course, maybe he was. You didn't say what happened to it. :rolleyes1 )

I'm sorry to hear about your accident. :headache: I hope you feel better soon. :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
daddy and daughter bfast sounds good.:wizard:

when cassie was in grade school they had donuts for dads day. the dads got to go into the school and dunk a few with their kid.princess: .:thumbsup2
it turned out to be popular so they added muffins for moms day that same year.:thumbsup2

They still have that here. I've been to Donuts for Dads day. Beth and I both work shift work. So, quite often it is one or the other of us home with the kids. I try to do stuff that is "special" for the three of us, even if its ordinary stuff like going to IHOP.

In November, the three of us have a real adventure. We are driving to WDW by ourselves! :scared1: Beth has to work Thanksgiving Day and the day after. She will join us on Saturday when she flies down.

Nice watch there Matthew. Why was I expecting to see a DCL watch though? :)

I said it was for sale on the Disney Cruise, not that it was a Disney Cruise watch.

I don't actually recall them having a Disney Cruise watch, now that I think about it. This one was on display in Treasure Ketch in the same area where they had all the jewelry and gold chains.
