10/24/2009 Bash on the Boat Cruise (I'm with BOB) Chapter #9

I'm watching the British Open and it sure looks windy over there today. The temp was showing 61* with winds blowing 20-30mph, giving windchills in the 50's. I just saw one poor fellow 5 putt because the wind kept blowing his ball away from the hole.

Yes...whats happened to our Summer?

Ellis had his first tennis assessment today at the gym.

She asked him if he'd ever played tennis before - his reply...

"only on the wii"

He ws relly good though! - she's put him in the intermediate class from the start with a view to moving him up again in 8 weeks. The lessons are $40 each though

We were at Dave and Bev's last night and they have got a Wii. Had a go at tennis, bowling and golf. Great fun.

she is finishing up her 4th class.
only 7 more to go.

i think it helps keep her mind off her mom and dad though.

Yep - thats Ellis with Stuart... I havent seen half of these photos before Steve.

I thought so. I was pretty sure that it was the two of them playing on that structure.

Not seeing the photos was my fault. When we got home last year I was in full Christmas planning and decorating mode. (Starting with the Halloween test) So it was a while before I even sorted many of my photos. When Mike was posting his yesterday, I remembered that I had never posted any of mine.

Just got back from dropping Lina off at yet another grad party, my car thermometer registered 99* the thermometer in front of the high school is showing 100* baby it's hot outside. I'm staying inside with the central air!!!

Just thought you all would appreciate the email I just sent to my best friend who lives in Norfolk VA - where the Magic will go for dry dock... I am patiently awaiting his answer... I believe it will contain the words "you're *&^%$ NUTS" and oh... I don't know what else...

My Dearest James...

My Ship... The Disney Magic... will be coming in for dry dock on Sept 6th... I'd appreciate it if you could be there to meet her as she will be out of sorts being in a new neighborhood, being stripped naked and having strange people feeling her up and down for leaks, etc...

Daily visits are not required, however appreciated, and if you happen to run into John, our head server, please tell him hello and ask him to display his spoon trick for you. Bringing down pizza and wings is appreciated. He's from Scotland and is a jolly fellow - me thinks he likes his brew too...

She is indeed a beautiful vessel and I hope to be back sailing on her to the Carribean very soon...

I appreciate your anticipated answer to my request...
