Hi Chris (and Lynn). I was fast asleep at 2am. I had gotten called into work the night before even though I wasn't on-call, the tech that was there was swamped and called me to come in and help get caught up, and I am on call tonight so I needed my sleep. Not mych time for DISing lately.

Before Lynn and I go just a question about your countdown clock for the WDW trip. You have 5months and 2 days and so do we. We arrive on the 21st of December. Don't you go down the 19th, assuming your plans have not changed. That would make you 5 months. Unless you are not counting the first couple days staying off Disney site. Sorry I took your FO away.

Cass, great pictures of Kira! Rachel is 3 months younger than her cousin, Abby, and she passed her up in weight and height when they were a few months old. Rachel is now well over a head taller than Abby.

Yep 5 months until WE get to FL providing we are still flying and nothing gets changed there, but we are staying the first 2 nights off grounds and going to Universal, so 5 months 2 days until we check in at Disneyworld too. I can't wait!!!!

I'm watching the British Open and it sure looks windy over there today. The temp was showing 61* with winds blowing 20-30mph, giving windchills in the 50's. I just saw one poor fellow 5 putt because the wind kept blowing his ball away from the hole.

To anyone else going on vacation soon, have a safe and happy time, havent read back so i apologize if i have missed anyone.
Its been a hard week, Olivia finished junior school today, she is off to high school in september. She was happy leaving today but i had to be strong and not cry, still feel like crying now. she is going from a village school with less than 200 children in the school to one with approx 1000 there.
Anyway a super holiday to look forward to, so see you all on the other side of the pond for 2 weeks.

The one nice thing about the ST not wanting to join me on the weekends at Riverwinds, is the fact that I get a longer workout in. Today I put in a 90 minute workout and burned 625 calories!!!

I'm melting away to nothing, well almost nothing.........

Woo Hoo Andy - good job! I was at the gym for 3 hours this morning

Boo yah! I'm down another 2 pounds this week!

I'm weighing in at 145 ... which means I only have to lose five more pounds to get back to where I was in April before we went to Vegas and I lost all dietary self-restraint.

Hope everyone has a good weekend ... Jay is scrambling some eggies with feta cheese and then we're going to go for a long walk. It's threatening to rain and should be fairly cool outside (we've been in the mid 90s all week) so this seems like a good time to get out and get some fresh air.

Oh you are just plain cruel!... mentioning feta on the Dis when I cant have any! Good job on the 2lb though

Ellis had his first tennis assessment today at the gym.

She asked him if he'd ever played tennis before - his reply...

"only on the wii"

He ws relly good though! - she's put him in the intermediate class from the start with a view to moving him up again in 8 weeks. The lessons are $40 each though

just finished workout #1 ... 6200 steps in 56 minutes for a total calorie burn of 400!!! That's 3.1 miles in just under an hour ... no wonder I was breathing heavy.

Now I'm going to see how many calories I can burn in 20 minutes shredding with Jillian on level 1.

And BTW ... if anyone here is a cheesemonger I updated the blog with a review of a cheese tasting Jay and I did at Whole Foods on Tuesday night. No pictures but we got to sample nine different cheeses!!
