Does DCL do any type of compensation or future discount if you miss stopping at CC? Although this was a double dip, it would seem to be a big part of the reason people take the cruise.

I've looked at the double dip cruises specifically to get two days at CC. (Although we haven't been on one yet.)

They are actually looking o.k., but they're playing the Vikings. The WI BOBers will be happy if they continue.

Aaron Rodger is looking better than I thought he would. Brett Favre though had 2 TD's yesterday. Hope Rodgers does the same tonight.

Jeff has forgotten there's a Bears fan or two among the WI crew...but he still likes me anyway!

Although, I can certainly root for the Packers when they're playing the Vikings!

Up early to do some checks for work.

My back is killing me this morning. Not sure what I did over the weekend, but I really pulled something. Even laying down (i.e. sleeping) isn't helping.

I just heard on the news again late last week that Midwest is making more cuts/changes. We might end up having to drive down yet. I actually really wouldn't mind that much if we had to drive as long as we didn't run into any snow/ice storms.
I guess I've gotten myself used to the idea that it's a real possibility with the way things are going with Midwest.



We'll be at Fairfield Inn I-Drive Dec. 19, Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Dec. 20 and Saratogs Springs Dec. 21-28

Lynn and Chris (Morsel) will be there too

Driving down won't be cheap. Right now without any discounts, the car will be about $200 (we'd rent so that if anything happened, we'd call the closest rental agency and swap cars). At 25 mpg, it would be about 100 gallons of gas. Figure $3.00 min per gallon and we have an additional $300. That is $500 to start. Add in hotels down there and food, and I'm getting close to a trip down during the quiet time, including airfare. Plus, I don't plan on going to the parks around Xmas, but could at another time.

However, Suz is really pushing the idea. Maybe we'll just look into Pricelining 3 flights into MCO instead for around $200 each as we get closer. If it takes, then we go.

Actually the first half of the trip had far more than the second half. Guess we just wanted to relax more.

very slow had no more than a 10 min wait for anything, well except soarin we skipped that since it was a 45min wait.
We did everything we wanted to do in EPCOT in 1 day. The longest wait we had was trying to find the rental car in the parking lot. Got to excited about being there forgot to write down where we parked, took about a half hour to find it.
We rode Everest twice within a 30 min span yesterday, awesome!

That's why we love going Labor Day weekend. It is almost as slow.

Suz parents actually flew down this past Saturday and are there until Friday. They will have a great week there then.

This was your first time on Everest, correct? Isn't it cool?

Thanks for the little nudge Lori, I just got back home from Riverwinds. All in all, I guess I didn't do too bad last week on the cruise, only gained 3 pounds, I thought it was going to be more than that........

Yeah, those thunderstorms will be here a little later. Usually by the time they reach Eastern Connecticut they aren't quite as strong.
