You didn't miss his birthday. It is Nov. 14th. He's turning the big 40! I just had his celebration early disguised as a costume party.

I've been up since 3AM this morning. Couldn't breathe because of this stupid cold and I pulled a hamstring last week so every time I tried to move around to get more comfy I got an annoying twinge down the back of my leg.

Friends, I'm here to tell you that 39 feels like 59 today. I want a new body with a better immune system, is that too much to ask?

Grimace (my mom) won $500 on a scratch off lottery ticket yesterday. She was so excited she called me at work and then got mad when I couldn't spend 20 minutes on the phone with her listening to her scratch-by-scratch account of just how she discovered she was a winner.
