Yeay!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

The crockpot is one of my favorite kitchen gadgets....I'm a working mom, so I love throwing something in the crockpot in the morning and coming home to a cooked meal!

Here's my easiest crock pot recipe:

Super Easy Chicken

5-6 boneless,skinless chicken breasts
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
1 packet dry italian dressing mix (the packet you'd buy if you were going to mix up your own italian salad dressing)

Put in the chicken breasts, sprinkle in the seasonings and pour in the chicken broth.

Cook at least 7-8 hours on low. Easy, low fat and makes a nice, flavorful chicken breast.

I also like to do pot roast in the crockpot....I usually buy a seasoning packet, and toss in the beef roast, baby carrots and potatoes....

I make the same chicken dish - delicious! I also make my pot roast in it and use one of those seasoning packets and some V-8 juice - yummy!

   for you all.

Thanks Heather. I am just now trying to catch up from the weekend. I did end up with his illness Friday night, Sat and Sunday. The party still went well even though I felt horrible.

Our initial plans are a beach day in St. Maarten with jet skiing. We are undecided in St. Thomas but would lean toward going to Trunk Bay in St. John. I might catch a ride up the Paradise Point Tramway though. At CC you will find us on the family beach just hanging out. Although I am going to go snorkeling this time. I wanted to catch a glimpse of those 20K Leagues submarines last cruise!

St. Thomas is supposed to be shopping Mecca, right? Mack and I really want to see as much of St. Thomas and St. John as we can. While a cruise is not the best way to see a new area, we don't want to have visited and feel like we haven't seen it at all. I also told Mack I want to enjoy the beaches while we are there since they are supposed to be so beautiful. That being said - any suggestions for good excursions to "see" these two places?

I just received this pic of my nephew "Charlie the Pirate" the pic was taken as he was on his way to his first Fall Festival Celebration.

He is ADORABLE!!!:flower3:

Wow, Jen, this sounds so easy that I couldn't even screw it up. Thanks for sharing!

I am sure DCL can help you figure that out for a price! My parents did the St. John tour I believe last time they were on DCL Eastern and said it wasn't worth the price.

Cass's website has some excursions listed as well. I am not a shopping geek, so I can care less about caribbean shopping! LOL Give me a beach with warm clear water and I am in heaven.

Good Morning !!!
We received a postcard and I gave it to DGS (14) told him Mickey was welcoming him back------ He told me I was LAME. :confused3 Go figure.
I asked DGD yesterday if I could use her blinking tiara --- She told me it was lost and I could call the police to help find it. My DD told me she has been on this thing about if something is misplaced call 911 and they will help you find it. Boy I left this one for my DD to handle.

The police would just have to camp out at our house all the time!:lmao:

With our 33rd wedding anniversary coming up this Friday, thought I'd post a pic from that very "special day" in 1975!!!

LOVIN' the suit!:thumbsup2 Isn't it fun going through all those old photos? My sister and I had a great time looking at all the old photos.

I am attempting to post some pictures of my daughter from the game yesterday. I realize only a handful of folks on here know us personally, so I apologize in advance if this is a "come see my pictures" moment for some of you. She is the flyer and the one on the right with the team mascot.

She is absolutely beautiful. My youngest daughter(5) just start cheerleading classes. She loves it. I'll have to show her these pics tomorrow. She will love them. And I don't care if I don't know you personally "yet". This is the way we get to know each other.

You can do it!
I do mine at home too, too much money to pay someone every 6 weeks.
and the root touch up kits work great too!

I have always been scared to do mine myself also. Red seems so hard to get right. I am on the edge of my seat waiting for pics of how yours turned out.

Hi all! Well......a chain of events this week has caused us to cancel our cruise plans. We were scheduled to use our Marriott HHI resort in July. Found out we aren't able to go so we deposited it with II. Our week qualifies for a bonus week (a reduced rate) at any number of resorts world wide. It costs us nothing if we use it so we decided to keep our eyes open. This morning, I was able to book a 2 bedroom at Marriott's Surf Club in Palm Beach Aruba for next Labor Day for $299. Too good to pass up. We just can't do both.

I hope you all don't mind me popping in once in a while to see how you are all doing! Have a wonderful cruise! If only money grew on trees......;)

I hate that you won't be with us next October but completely understand. Have fun in Aruba. I highly recommend the all day Pelican Tour. It was great.:thumbsup2

The shopping in St. Thomas is excellent. You also get a higher duty-free allowance ($800/person) since it is part of the US. Charlotte Amalie is a short cab ride from either dock.

There is a very beautiful beach on St. Thomas called Magens Bay (one of National Geographic's Top 10 Beaches in the World). The ship is docked in St. Thomas for 8.5 hours so it is possible to do the beach and some shopping. There is a new cruise dock on the other side of town that has smaller versions of the local stores (Cardow Jewelers is one of my favorites), but I'm not sure if Disney ever uses this dock.

St. John is beautiful, but it's a bit if a sail from St. Thomas. Most of the excursions there are 5+ hours. Not sure how much time that would leave for shopping, but it is a beautiful way to spend the day.

Aww, thanks for the getting to know you kind words! My daughter, Olivia, started cheering at age 4, and those pictures are from her first season cheering in college. She is a competition cheerleader but they cheer the games too. If your daughter enjoys it, cheerleading can be a wonderful sport - dangerous, expensive, and sometimes cliquish, but it can also be wonderful.

Magens Bay is the place for you!
