Is there a dining rotation someone favors for this itinerary? If so, why? I know which menu is my favorite, unless Lumiere's is much different than Tritons, but I don't know which nights would be best in which venues or if there is a reason it would make a difference.

Edited to fix rotation:

We had the PLA rotation on one of our Eastern Caribbean cruises, which put us in Lumiere's for Formal Night and Parrot Cay for Pirate Night.

If I remember correctly, we had the PALPALP rotation on one of our Eastern Caribbean Cruises. It was nice because we were in Parrot Cay for Pirate Night and Lumiere's for Semi-Formal Night.

Well, that brings up another question then - how does the dinner rotation go in terms of semi-formal, formal, pirate, etc...

Hi Mimi :wave2:

I'm sure other people will weigh in, but I'm not sure it makes much of a difference on the 7 night cruise. The Pirate Night Menu is the same in every restaurant.

Triton's has more of a seafood focus, where Lumiere's is more French. OK, that's what Disney says. But I can tell you that the 1st time I ate in Lumiere's I had the BEST sea bass I've ever eaten.

There is also a big dessert buffet in Lumiere's, on Pirates in the Caribbean night, I think. AllEars.net has great pictures and information: http://allears.net/cruise/cruisephdin.htm

Just a "hi" on the fly, y'all.....

I'm off to book group. We read Stolen Innocence by Elissa Wall. It's the true story of her escape from FLDS and Warren Jeffs--long but interesting.

Hope everyone has had a good weekend!:goodvibes

I am curious about this as well.

For our Western cruise we had a rotation that put us in the same. The one thing I didn't like is that we had a very early rotation. I think we ate at either 5:30 or 5:45. I guess I would prefer theming over the 15 or so minute difference though.

I am attempting to post some pictures of my daughter from the game yesterday. I realize only a handful of folks on here know us personally, so I apologize in advance if this is a "come see my pictures" moment for some of you. She is the flyer and the one on the right with the team mascot.

He has on a couple of them. The last book I read of his had one. I reading Night in Rodanthe right now before I watch the movie. I have all of his books except for the new one that just came out. I usually wait until they come out on paperback.

Ok, just started reading it. What was your room number??? We were in that first building a few weeks ago! I think we were 8425. LOVED it!

BTW, I have to :lmao: that you bring your own booze on the plane. That's classic!

Hey guys :wave2:

I'm baaaaack ;)

Got home at 2 AM and then had about 6 hours of sleep. Got up and showered and eagerly went to get Kira :cool1: :woohoo: She was soooo cute! As soon as she saw me she smiled, yelled MOMMY and squealed with delight  :cloud9: Then she saw her daddy and said REALLY loudly DADDY!!!!!!!! :goodvibes

She had a really good week with her auntie and uncle and we REALLY missed her but we had a good time too!

Just getting back to normal now, got some groceries and cooking supper now (ech :crazy2: I hate cooking) and Rob is doing laundry.
:laundy:

Off to peak at Bendy's review :woohoo:

Hi Mel! We were in room 9636 ... a lovely location and very quiet. I think we're going to request the Grandstand the next time we stay at SSR which should ensure that we end up back in Congress Park.

:rotfl: THis was our fifth (I think) stay at SSR and the VERY first time we had a request granted! We were thrilled with the Grandstand. The location is really great. Sounds like you were in the second GS building.

In December I requested DTD view (CP) - I've requested it before but never had it granted. Second choice is Grandstand. ALthough, I don't think I'd want the furthest buildings of the Grandstand. That'd be too removed.
