Morning all! Just wanted to say thanks for all the birthday wishes ... my internet friends remembered my birthday more than my own family. :lmao:

Also, thanks for the tiara tips. I know that I can order them from other places but I really wanted to try it on before purchasing since I have such a goofy, long face. And I just really liked the product that Arrabis was producing ... very well made and attractive for a not bad price. Oh well, there's plenty of time for me to work something out. ;)

And ... I want a transatlantic cruise ... is that so wrong? :lmao:

No it isn't Brenda...you could always come with Rick and I. Keep us company.

Disney sells a wonderful blinking tiara. I bought one for my DGD. I wonder if she will let me use it.

We booked the West Bound TA

that's the one I'm considering ... I just have a fear that crossing the Atlantic in prime hurricane season could prove to be a little more exciting than Jay and I would prefer. :rotfl2:

I think the EB would be rougher, but who knows?

Why isn't that nutty husband of yours posting over here? I was going to make Stewicide for dinner, but I need Dan to catch a fish for me! :lmao:

Dan & Pete were down at the river at 6 this morning. Between the 2 of them they caught about 15 fish. So what are you waiting for to make the stew?!!!!!!

I'm sorry ... I think I may actually have agreed to "be in charge" of this, but I sort of got distracted by other things. Long story short ... since there are so many of us celebrating birthdays and anniversaries on this cruise I suggested (as a joke at first) that we all don tiaras on formal night and have a group picture taken. It sort of spiraled out of control from there ... there is a list on the last thread of ladies who were planning on participating.

Once Cass gets back from her trip I'll ask her to add something to her site so that we can keep track of all the "girls" who will be packing hardware next year.

I'm a newbie but I also will be celebrating a birthday (the last one before I'm eligible for Medicare!) on the cruise next year.

Nancy

I am SHOCKED to learn that some of you ladies don't already own tiaras! :lmao: Please count me in on the fun.princess:

For all of you Green Acres fans out there, it's really called a diamond ta-ra-ra. Mr. Drucker had a sale in the General Store and I believe Mr. Haney sold them from his truck! :rotfl2:

Hey KAthy, you're too funny!!!!

Just finished catching up on all the posts in the last few days.

To Elaine (samandjaysmom) Welcome from another newbie. We been on 3 DVC members cruises but this will be our first 7 day. Usually my DH posts but occasionally I have something to say too. We both use the same name & I just put an N when it's me.

To njprincess - I listened to the sail away song & sang along loudly! Thanks for the site. Hope you have a nice day at the beach. I'm jealous.

To anyone - I've figured out there must be another Nancy besides me. Please identify yourself. I'm Nancy K of danandnan

To all Red Sox fans - We must believe!

Nothing wrong with that. If I were to pick one, it would be the West Bound. It has a couple of Caribbean Islands before CC. But, since both are during the school year, neither will work out for us. Those prices are really good though for the TA.

On the last TA cruises, the EB was really rough (it went in May) and the WB was like glass (it went in late August). Not that I was on either, just from reading reports on the DIS. I would go WB because it is in September and the water is warmer, hence the air will be warmer. :thumbsup2

Hi Jeff ... your last two posts were like you were reading my mind. The exact reasons we were considering the WB TA. It's still a lot of money so I'm not sure whether or not we're going to do it, but I may request a quote just for the heck of it.

Wouldn't it be a great way to celebrate Jay's 40th birthday a few months late?

Back home after a pretty long day...

Listening to this cruise music, I decided to make a Disney Cruise playlist in itunes and when I sync my iPod, it will add to that. I am listening to Remember the Magic right now...

Nancy

Just got back from the beach and it was beautiful, but windy. The ocean was a sort of grayish-green and very rough.

Nancy, we will have to have an extra special birthday celebration for you! 39 is not so bad (you become eligible for Medicare at 40, right?:confused3 )

Just don't forget to pack your tiara!!!princess: Mimi can give you tiara packing instructions (she has so many talents!)

I do LOVE that Sailaway song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BcyjMTA53-0). The lyrics are so perfect "with the sun beating down, yes, I'm on my way and I can't keep this smile off my face :) "
