I have a question for all you original Bobers. I know BOB stands for Bash on the Boat but how did that term get started? I'd like a little history! Thanks.

Boy, I've been there. I had to take it for awhile for asthma and it totally messed up my blood sugar! On the up side, it made me feel like Super Woman while I was on it...

In response to your second statement. YES! I got so excited after I put down the deposit on PO:R. The planning bug had bit and I immediately pre-purchased the 2009 passporter. Now, I'm searching resort maps with a fine tooth comb looking for just the right building to request. I'm hopeless.

Good question Nancy! I think Jeff and our other Nancy (hmm we are gonna have to figure out a way to tell you two apart! ) can give you a better answer for that one. I know that we have a lot of people celebrating stuff during the month of October, so I think it was then nicknamed as the Bash On the Boat and somehow it was shortened to BOB

Well then I fit right into that since my birthday is in Oct. As for telling us apart, most of my life there's been another Nancy around so I'm just Nancy K or maybe Nancy 2 or maybe Maine Nancy. Of course I might be much older too!. I haven't really "met" the other Nancy yet. Where are you other Nancy?

Nancy K, Here's what I remember about BOB. I believe Brenda (oybolshoi) came up with the name Bash on the Boat. I recall that I shortened it to BOB but Heather came up with the slogan "I'm with BOB". If I'm wrong, I hope someone will be along to correct me. Does that sound right BOBers???

Good evening everyone...

We had a pumpkin carving party this evening. We and our neighbors set up a table and carved three pumpkins then had dinner together. I will post pics a little later.

As I was washing all of the pumpkin guts off my arms and hands, I looked in the mirror and noticed that my rash may have gone down a bit. Maybe in a day or so, I will be poison ivy free for the most part!

Nancy - Mack's birthday is Oct. 7! We are celebrating it on the Bash. As to your name, while I have finally gotten used to calling you Nancy now, I could revert back to Nan a la DanandNan - just an idea.

PS What I'm really having a hard time with is that my oldest will be 40 next spring. That's a tough one. And his son will be 19 next month. Yikes!
