Welcome to the new cruisers to our Board.

Welcome home to those who recently got back from traveling.

Have a great trip to those who are getting ready to leave.

For the 1st time in about 5 months, I think I am going to need to drag my long work pants out of the closet. Today's high here will only be in the mid 60's, we have a chilly and breezy start this morning. The Autumn weather is upon us.

Time to get ready for work........:rolleyes1

Christian, we kind of did the "race for docs" for KK1 last year...think it was someone from WI that got them first?? Anyone remember?? :confused3

It sure wasn't me. I go through AAA and I get mine right before we leave.:sad2:

PS...Nancy you promised not to mention my attraction to ladies in red dresses....:rolleyes1

Sorry, forgive me??:flower3: :flower3: :flower3:

Good morning.

Welcome to all the new BOBers!:cool1: You won't see me here much for the next week or so. I am busy packing, cleaning, finishing a scrapbook, writing down all the kids schedules in detail and so on. We leave for Aruba on Sat and will be gone a week.
Lori, have a great time in Aruba. Take care of my Palo date too!:thumbsup2

Morning all! I have to leave soon for the second day of meetings .. but at least we'll be done by about 5PM today. Last night they had a happy hour at our operations center and they they chartered a bus and took us all to Rams Park (the training and workout facility that the STL Rams use during the season). We got a tour of the entire place and had dinner there and got to muck around on the practice field and had an "inspirational" chat with Aeneas Williams (who no longer plays).

It was cool, although as someone who could give two hoots about football that aspect of it was kind of lost on me. Didn't get home until 10:30 last night ... now I need lots of coffee. :surfweb:

Welcome to all the new cruisers - we're all happy to have you joining us here! :goodvibes

AFEG ... you probably do need a paddlin! :lmao:

afternoon all,

i am back with joke of the day

The Bacon Tree

Two Mexicans are stuck in the desert, wandering aimlessly and close to death. They are close to just lying down and waiting for the inevitable, when all of a sudden.......

'Hey Pepe, do you smell what I smell. Ees bacon I is sure of eet.'

'Si, Luis eet smells like bacon to meee.'

So, with renewed strength, they struggle up the next sand dune, and there, in the distance, is a tree loaded with bacon.

There's raw bacon, dripping with moisture, there's fried bacon, back bacon, double smoked bacon... every imaginable kind of cured pig meat.

'Pepe, Pepe, we is saved. 'Eees a bacon tree.'

'Luis, are you sure ees not a meerage? We ees in the Desert don't forget.'

'Pepe when deed you ever hear of a meerage that smell like bacon... ees no meerage, ees a bacon tree'.

And with that... Luis Races towards the tree. He gets to within 5

metres, Pepe following closely behind, when all of a sudden, a machine gun opens up,and Luis is cut down in his tracks. It is clear he is mortally wounded but, a true friend that he is, he manages to warn Pepe with his dying breath.

'Pepe... go back man,you was right ees not a bacon tree.'

'Luis Luis mi amigo... what ees it?

' Pepe... ees not a bacon tree...

Good morning everyone. The sun is finally shining in New England, but now my daughter is sick. Poor Sam was up half the night!

I have an eye appointment this morning then have to go to the food bank to pick up some food for our food pantry.

Well, I better grab some breakfast, my trademark Little Debbie's and Milk.

Nope, Chris hasnt responded - maybe he doesnt like me:snooty:
No idea on the M1:confused3 - Neil just mentioned that everyone would probably be using it:confused3 - I dont do directions:rotfl2: - I get lost walking down the street:rotfl2:

How about somewhere near Leicester? Is there a McD's near there?

NJ has been rainy & dreary. Plus, for the 1st time in 13 years, no playoffs for the Yankees
Glad to see I have a fellow Yankee fan on the cruise. Maybe we can watch the Yanks in the playoffs next year on the BOBer cruise.

Yes I'm a Yankee fan. All that Manny talk was creeping me out. Right now the LA fans have been taken in by the sweet-cuddly-yet-not-too-bright Manny. Wait until they meet the nasty-selfish-I-don't-feel-like-playing-because-my-knee-hurts Manny. But I guess they won't see that Manny until after they pick up his gazillion $$$ option. at the end of the season.

Wow, I feel better now. Promise I won't go off again.
