Boy you are not kidding about fast moving. My Dh's only comment about going on another cruise was to not make him wear a suit ( you know I am retired). He always throws in the you know..... statement, so it is a running joke around here, when he is not into something.
After deciding to go back to school and get my masters in nursing edu, I will be so ready to not study for awhile.

I thought by your "name" that you were a nurse... what area? I work in pediatrics. I have my master's degree in pediatrics (Clinical Nurse Specialist...but I never left the floor!) I have thought about adding the education aspect and teaching...but it's too much time and energy when the kids have so much going on!

We told him that the other toys just had to come out at night and fix him.
(I think they'll use super glue for this one though!)

I just caught up on the posts and Paige's pictures. I almost feel guilty to admit that I slept in until 8:30 AM this morning.

This is my last day off from a very rare three day weekend. Early mornings begin again tomorrow. We had a blast at the Great Wolf Lodge over the weekend. Topping everything off with the DISmeet was the perfect touch. The girls were a bit unsure before we got there. They thought it was going to be a bunch of "grown ups" sitting around talking. It didn't take long for all the kids to hit it off. They're so excited that they already know other kids that will be on the cruise. Here's a couple more pics of the kids feeding the ducks.

Good morning all. I am very jealous of Andy right now. He's up in the Ramada all tucked in bed sleeping and here I am alone and already awake. YAWN!!!!!!!!
It is all worth it though. We had such a great time. And the kids really were great. All the girls are already trying to make sleepover plans and Harrison was a giggle box as usual.
It really is like sitting down to dinner with people you have known for years. It never felt like it was the first time meeting some of the group. It makes me want Oct. 09 to get here even faster!Well, better go get ready for work! Catch ya all later.

Megan said this morning that we should go THIS October instead of next...it's sooner ("only 2 days away"). The girls were asking why we couldn't meet ALL the Disboarders! I said that would probably take a cruise ship to fit them all!

Anyway... it was great to meet who we did. Looking forward to meeting everyone else!

I have a sick kid home today. Last evening Jay was complaing of a headache and had a pretty high fever. He seems to be doing better, but want to give it 24 hrs of fever free before sending him to school. He is playing PS2 and waching Go Diego Go for now, but doesn't quite have the energy he normally has. I will be heading to work this morning then hang out with him at home this afternoon while Elaine switches with me.

great hotel with a waterpark on Saturday night [/COLOR]and will meet up with Janice's & Jen's families on Sunday for lunch.

That's actually what we were doing Friday night and Saturday night. Megan and I were at the waterpark Sunday morning while Matthew packed up and Sarah fended off a headache. It was a great indoor water park. Then, we finished up some Adventures on a "Magic Quest" game that they have in the main hotel area. Between walking up stairs for the water rides and up and down stairs for the Magic Quest, not to mention all the swimming, I'm totally beat! It was quite a workout!

Beth I have to send out an apology to you and Lori if Rob butchered your names. When we were on our way home, re-hashing the fun of the night, he called you "Becky," and he has always had trouble with the name "Lori." He always wants to say "Laurie" or "Laura" (He has even done this to family members who he has known for years and years.) And I think that Angelina probably never heard her name out of his mouth..... And he probably called Matthew, "Mike." Now as for Andy and Hazel, because of the infamous you tube video (and the pic that Angelina shared with us), he'll never forget or mess up their names.

That's okay... Matthew's wires got crossed and he tried to call Lina "Carolina" instead of "Angelina"! And he's the one that usually remembers names! I think he just misses things on the boards because he isn't on everyday and usually doesn't try to read back much! He got all the names right when I quizzed him on the way home.

As for me, I can now put faces to names and names to a couple of board names now!

Just got home last night after nine. We are exhausted and have major colds.

It was a great trip. We met some really wonderful people. I have a few talked into this cruise. Every one said four days is not enough.

Will post more when I can get my head above water. Work is crazy.....

Honestly, I'm so envious that ya'll live close to other DISers and are able to get together and have mini DISmeets. There seem to be very few STL DISers around ... Oh well, with my luck if I came across a Stinktown DISer that person would end up being some kind of psychotic, anti-food, book-hating freak and I'd never want to meet up anyway.
Wish me luck ... this week is going to be an ugly one. Ever notice how that happens the week before you leave on a vacation? Oh well ... we leave for WDW in exactly 10 days!!!

The Wisconsin DISers plan to meet up again on October 25th to celebrate the one year mark. We found a happy medium between the SE Wisconsin DISers and Jen and Janice and are meeting at the Wisconsin Dells. Jeff's family, Cheryl's family and the Tuna and I will be staying at a great hotel with a waterpark on Saturday night and will meet up with Janice's & Jen's families on Sunday for lunch.

Any BOB crashers are welcome!!!

I wish we could crash that party We are throwing Rob's dad a surprise 60th Birthday party that night. Finally I actually get to attend a party where my husband is DJing We even get to dance together That's what happens when he doesn't get paid to DJ

It looks like the "mid atlantic" DIS meet went very nice. I think we are the only DISers north of Andy.

I think its great that you all really had a good time. I am a lot more outgoing on here then I tend to be face to face. My wife is the social butterfly in our house, but I am sure when we all do meet either at the Rad, or on the ship, we will all click rather well.

Yup, same way here Chris...Rob is the social butterfly while I am more like the fly on the wall But I had no problem mingling last cruise, everyone is so nice and friendly

I had a major cold the last couple days of our last cruise and it made flying home a rather unpleasant and disgusting experience...think pressure changes!
