You notice that only the 5 of us made it to breakfast today. Think it was a late night for Jeff the night before.

That would have been Cartagena the night before. I don't believe that was too late of a night.

I think I was turning away from Rick because he had the camera.

Not sure what happen to the other 6 people from out table though.

I read something about Master Chef night and I think it was Cass that posted about how she doesn't like it. It is my least favorite dinner as well. I HATE that menu.

We always plan Palo for that night.

I think it was Chris who asked about Palo being worth it. Yes, it is. Even if you're not into fancy foods, it is worth at least one trip up there.

AFEG didn't want to go, but I promised him he'd have a good meal or I'd pay his fee. I was right. If you're up front with them of what you don't like or how you don't like it too fancy or saucey or what not, tell them, they will make sure they accomodate you and give you the best meal of the cruise.

Well, once we got Sleeping Beauty up this morning we were able to get on the way home.....

Ok, I just updated the Hotel Before Cruise Page on the BOB site.
I am adding "BOOKED" to your names if you have already booked your room at the Rad.

Andy, I assume you booked a room for your Mom and Walt when you booked yours....Cheryl, I assumed you booked your room as well. I also think that you booked your room as well Jeff and I think I remember Walt & Di said you booked your room.

If any of that is wrong, please let me know and I will change it. If you have already booked your room, please let me know and I will update the page accordingly.

Also let me know if you want your name removed from the list if your plans have changed (I believe this is the case for you Karen as you booked an extra night at your villa, correct?)

Cass--Rob and I and Giap and Dave have booked as well. That may change, but for now, we are booked.

I have a sick kid home today. Last evening Jay was complaing of a headache and had a pretty high fever. He seems to be doing better, but want to give it 24 hrs of fever free before sending him to school. He is playing PS2 and waching Go Diego Go for now, but doesn't quite have the energy he normally has. I will be heading to work this morning then hang out with him at home this afternoon while Elaine switches with me.

I trust Jay is feeling better by now....

It looks like I am the only one around, but I wanted to tell everyone I just booked the Radisson for 10/23/2009! LOL

I guess all of this talk about DIS meets got me excited. Last time we stayed at the Residence, but since we are all planning a meet, I thought we would join everyone at the Radisson. I am trying to remember how close the Budget office was to the Radisson. Was it walking distance?? That could be convenient to return the car and ride the Radisson bus to the port.

Yes, the Budget office is less than a five minute walk from the Radisson. I have taken that walk several times!!!

Yes I seem to remember his trip reports indicating that he walked back from returning his car. Last time, I dropped off the family at the port, returned my car and rode the Budget shuttle back to the ship.

In regards to the Radisson, i requested a room close to the pool so that we are close to the action! I imagine despite an early morning most likely to catch a plane the kids will be up late swimming with all of the other DIS kids.

Did you tell them at the Radisson you were part of the BOB Cruisers to get the discounted price that Cheryl was able to get for us?

Yeah, I booked it online with the code provided by Cheryl. I think I may add my parents to the ressie now and get a room for them.

I really enjoyed the pics from the meet last night, looks like you all had a fab time. Wish we had been there, me and olivia kept saying the same thing "its not fair, why cant we live there". Feeling glum now.
Lori - that little munchkin harrison looked like he was having fun. Liked Julia's outfit "can you see my back in this dress" , loved her shoes.
Karen - where is central for us all to meet. any suggestions.

One can only speak for four of the M.I.A's and to be perfectly honest the last thing i need is some Brazen hussy mouse pawing me first thing on a morning.....

And contrary to what people may have heard i was not the worse for wear due to large amounts of alcohol....The last thing i would want is for people to get the wrong impression of me Before i give them reason to.....
