what a great story. I know how hard it is to lose and keep off. I always gain when I vacation but I manage to get back on track once home. I made my weight watchers goal in 15 months too. Walt too. Andy Hazel looks great too. Weight Watchers really works. I love it. I really enjoy the meetings. I have friends I meet with every week and we learn something every time. Great Job Heather and Hazel. I second that! I just started my diet changes today, so I am glad for the inspiration!

Nothing new and exciting to report from this end except tonight we go to pick up Kristin's wedding gown. and Of course my dear daughter had to pick out the 2nd most expensive one in the shop. I'd better pick up a lottery ticket on my way into work today.

Edited to add: I just checked the tickets I had here at the house and I won!!! I really, really did!!! One whole dollar.

I did get to the gym today - 590 calories, and we're having a very healthy dinner tonight too

I'd hit a plateau since my Greece holiday so my motivation went downhill for a while, but you've got me back at it Thanks Heather

So, Lina has the big meeting this morning? Good luck to all of ya. I dread that time coming for my kids.......and it seems to be approaching faster than I can believe!

More or less turned into a phone conversation. We found out the school is in the middle of changing locations and the class that was supposed to start this past Monday will not be starting until Oct. 6th.

Lina told the director the reason she wanted to do massage therapy, she wanted to find a job that she could make good money so she could take care of Hazel and I after I retire. I told Lina not to worry about that, I was more than capable of taking care of us once I retire. Lina said that we have done so much for her for the first 18 years, she wanted to help take care of us. What a sweetheart.

Anyhow, Lina does have an interview at Baker's Shoes on Thursday afternoon, and she is still waiting to hear back from Build-a-Bear. Lina also said she is interested in taking classes at our local community college in January. So, things are looking up for Lina!!!!!

I started in 2002 also. Wanted to be in beter shape at 50 then 40.
I am 60 down from 2002 but still need about 40 more. I do feel much better
and am not afraid to go to the gym any more.

Heather- great pictures never would have recognized you. It's the days before digital so I will have to find one if it won't scare everyone.

I woke up today with a pounding headache. I think it is allergy related. I think I will take my time going to work this morning.

You beat me today, I was only able to burn off 550 calories in my 45 minute workout this morning. I wish Riverwinds opened earlier on the weekdays, I could get a longer workout in before going to work, as it is, about 45 minutes is all I can do. Heck, it's still better than nothing at all!!!
