There is a great pizza place right next door also. You can walk from the hotel and it's not as pricey.

That will work if do a Poolside Pizza DISmeet. :thumbsup2

That's an option for Kira and I but Rob is really picky about his pizza

We're still trying to decide what to do. We are debating on one of the three ideas:

1 - Checking out Vero Beach resort pre-cruise.
2 - MNSSHP pre-cruise. I think going ON Halloween might be too busy for us.
3 - Radisson at the Port

I vote for #3 ;)

We went on Halloween night in 2005 and it wasn't as busy as people kept telling me it was going to be.

Grills was pretty good. It sure beat the McDonalds for breakfast at the airport and lunch at McDonalds outside of the airport. I will say though, the service at the MCO off airport McDonalds was quite good as was my quarter pounder. :rotfl2:

That sounds terrible, but I really don't like McDonalds!

Downside - it doesn't have all the overtime yet. Straight vacation for last week, correct?

Nope, I had 8 hours overtime from the previous Saturday!!!!! Me likely overtime pays!!!!! :thumbsup2

I wish I could book the Radisson, but have to wait until June to finalize my travel arrangements. I have to make sure I am not getting transferred. I don't want to make airline arrangements for Hartford if I live near, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Cincinnati, etc.

If our flight arrangements get us to MCO late, we will stay at the MCO Hyatt, but I would really like to get in earlier so we can have a good meal again at Grills!

It doesn't hurt to book a room at the Radisson, no $$ is needed now, you can cancel up to a day or two ahead of time and not have to pay for the room.

I may be wrong, but I don't think the rate is non-refundable. If you want to go there, I'd book the room. You could always cancel it later.

Just a thought.

I guess I should have read ahead a little farther........:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Yep, Kelley's, or something like that. Some DIS'ers from our DISmeet last week got pizza from there and were eating around the pool during our meet.

I probably will book it then. Now the next question. Use my rental car or take the Rad Shuttle...lol :confused3

We always use the Radisson shuttle, never had a problem with them at all. I like keeping my family all together......;)

I'm not sure what we will do. We were thinking of coming down a couple of days early to do F&W or MNSSHP. Haven't even decided if we are going to use a car service or rent a car. It is just the 2 of us this time so easier to manage than 6.

We're looking at coming in on that Thursday and the Rate doesn't apply to Thursday.

Luckily, AAA has a rate of $107.10 on Thursday and $116.10 for Friday. Average is $111.60, so not too much more than the Rate for the group.

I'm looking at the rates for the 2 nights we'll be there and it is $135/$145 for a 1 Bedroom King Whirlpool Suite. It has a pull-out sleeper in the living room portion.

Here is the description:

Our Two Room Whirlpool Suite Features:
-Our exclusive Sleep Number bed with air chambers allows you to adjust the firmness of the mattress to your exact level of comfort with the touch of a button. To further enhance comfort, you will appreciate our bed?s quality linens, down pillows and finished with a premium down-filled comforter nestled in an ultra-soft duvet cover
-High Speed Internet Access
-Whirlpool in the Bedroom
-Pullout Sofa Sleeper in Living Room
-Workdesk with Cordless Phone
-2 Large Screen TV's-Cable TV with HBO
-Refrigerator-Microwave-Wetbar

Not sure which to go for.

Better bring some bleach to put in the whirlpool......

Hi everyone! I am only on for a second...just long enough to give Jeff a hard time. Any pics today, Repo Bobers?

I plan on using my rental car, taking Suz and DS and luggage and then back to the car rental agency to drop the car.

That sounds like a good plan. The budget shuttle was fast but we were seperated for 15-20 minutes.

Plus, once you get in the terminal, there really isn't anywhere to go. Suz will go secure our spot in line and DS will watch some cartoons.

The key for us is to get the #2 boarding pass. :thumbsup2

We rode the Radisson shuttle last week and still got a #2 boarding pass.
