Good morning all!

Are you cruising in or staying on island? We were there last year for a week and love, love, love Aruba!! We would rather go there than Hawaii. The people are more friendly, the flight is more manageable and the cost of things was less than Hawaii. Any questions, just ask.

We are staying there for a week. Scott and I are going with 4 other couples. The kids are staying home this time. We can't wait. PM me everything you thing we should no miss. Thanks. Would also love to see pics.

I'll try to upload some Aruba pics tonight. I still haven't off-loaded Suz SD card yet.

We went to Palm beach twice. If you are staying on the island and in the hi-rise area, you will be on Palm beach.

The water there is awesome. :thumbsup2

I'll have to check which beach we are on. i thought it was Eagle something but I'll check.

Thanks. i love seeing pics.:thumbsup2 I still need to post pics of Harrison's Bday party this past Sunday.

Here is a short video of my ride home from the babysitters. Harrison always wants to sing his song and gets VERY upset if anyone else sings it also. He is screaming "NOT YOUR SONG".:rotfl2:

View the 2nd video it is the one that I got him doing it. The first one is me trying to get him to sing and he wants me to turn the phone around and not video him.;)

Cute videos Lori, kids, gotta love 'em!!! :goodvibes

I would love to take a Southern Caribbean cruise some day. The ship we went on our first cruise was repositioning to a 10 island 11 night itinerary from San Juan. That seemed to be very popular reading the cruise critic boards. I would love to go to Barbados, St. Barts, St. Kitts, Aruba, etc.

Are you going to a hotel, time-share, or condo?

We are staying at one of the couples time share. I believe it is La Cabana. I don't know much about it since they have done the planning and booking. That is sooooo not like me.

They have 7 night cruises out of San Juan to those destinations.

You can get to Aruba, Cartagena, Panama on an 11 night cruise out of Miami (round trip) also.

If you do 9 or 10 nights, you can get to the Islands you mentioned as well.

I just can't figure out why DCL sails at 18 knots to go to St. Maarten all the time when they could sail at 23 for those first 2 sea days and get to Antigua or some other island further down.

Then go to St. Thomas or better yet, maybe go to San Juan once in a while.

Need something different than their usual two Caribbean itineraries.

Cute Pics Robin.

I spy with my little eye a couple of proud grandparents in those pics.

Brady Michael is adorable, congrats mama and papa!!! :thumbsup2

Here are some of the island. The ones looking out are from the ship, the ones looking at the ship are from a rock formation on the island (that is where the lizard was). The blue roofed building in the back of pic 1 is the airport.

That would be Eagle beach most likely. The time share properties are right across the street from Eagle beach.
