And here is their favorite gift of all. A very special thanks to Cass who gave me the idea of each guest bringing a scrapbook page for the couple. I decided to add a little twist and asked them to give us a favorite recipe on their pages. Some people went all out. Kristin and Jesse absolutely loved this gift!! The tears were flowing of both happiness and sadness as there was a recipe and a poem from Chuck's mom who passed away in 1995. Whenever she gave out a recipe of her's she always wrote a little poem at the end of it. Always a twist on "Roses are red.....".

Thanks again Cass!!! Your idea was the hit of the party!!!

That is such a great idea. Love the pictures, she has such a beautiful smile.

Mel how magical :cool1: I love this picture best because it really looks like you captured the specialness amd surprise of the moment for Amelia.
My favorite too
Here's a few pictures of Rachel before the dance last night.

Rachel's first homecoming dance

Here she is with a few of her friends. From left to right Taylor, Lauren, Rachel and another Lauren. They all got together at Lauren's house to get ready together and then I picked them up and drove them to the dance so I could see how pretty they looked and take a few pictures.

Great pictures, love the dress. She'll be set for next cruise.

Wow,

I haven't been on here for a while. We have a few newcomers.

Hi to all of you. :wave2: :welcome:

While Mike is laying the ceramic tile, :) I thought I'd get on and say hi.

Loving the pics everyone. :thumbsup2 Keep em coming.

Sounds just like Hazel and I, me the overplanner, Hazel the overpacker.........:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'll just tell on myself before Matthew gets a chance to:

"Hi, My name is Beth. I am an overpacker!":)

Matthew is definitely the planner. I won't necessarily say "over" planner, but he does plan 2 or 3 vacations ahead!;)

I really dread flying or should I say preparing to fly with my family. I weigh our luggage the night before we leave using the bathroom scale. We are usually very close to 50 lbs. on our large pullman. Coming home from a cruise or WDW, I don't have the luxury of a scale, so I just hold my breath!

My congrats to the Brewers fans. With my sister and VJ stopping by last evening, I toally forgot about the game last night. Brewers won 4-1 so I just saw in my morning paper. ;)
I thought of something regarding the baseball playoffs. In fact since my Yankees are out of it, it is probably the first time I have put any thought to the playoffs.

So here goes...

How would this be for irony for all of you...cough cough  Red Sox fans. How about a Red Sox/Dodgers World Series with Manny coming back and winning the WS for the Dodgers with Boston paying the last portion of his salary????

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I just watched a "double knee replacement operation" on TV, I thought I was going to loose my lunch serveral times watching the 30 minute program. I didn't know it was on until Hazel told me about, darn that woman......:lmao:

I used to work in Orthopedics in the hospital (many years ago!) I know that after that surgery, they are in a lot of pain! After I saw the operation on tv, I understood why! It looks more like a carpenter at work at times. :scared:

Couldn't you have chosen a nice, bloody triple bypass or a pesky bowel re-section instead? :lmao:

Next time, you should think twice before watching the 'Surgery Channel! :rotfl:

You're right... in some ways those surgeries are less gory! And the knee replacement is the only one I've seen on tv. But I did see a couple in person, I just can't remember what they were! Too long ago.

Me too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Are we brothers from a different mother??? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Karen, looking back now at your pics from KK1, you did such an awesome job with your shirts!!!! And you thought they weren't going to turn out! HA!!!

If I get the transfer bakwards this time it wont matter - BOB either way is still bOB:lmao:

I am not fond of ortho emergencys. I have taken care of many patients in the emergency room over the years with many different ortho emergencys,I always feel so bad for these patients, all I can say is give alot of pain meds!!!

I read somewhere that there is a block of rooms at the Radison reserved. I need to make a reservation, can someone pass on some info about this. Thanks

The TV show I saw was of Rothman Intistute, they were showing these people three days after surgery and being pain free. That part I could handle, but the banging and sawing..........eeeeeeeekkkkkkkkk.........

After the partial knee replacement I had in 2001, I was in extreme pain for the first two weeks or so. But I must say, once I got through PT, I know that surgery was the best decision I made. Before the surgery, I was bone on bone and in constant pain.

I'd probably pass out watching one of those surgeries..........:faint:
