Got home a few minutes ago. Gotta get in bed. 4:45 will come wayyyyy too early tomorrow. Loved the pics from tonight. We had a great time. Can't wait to see everyone again real soon.

We had a great time, too! It was so much fun seeing Lori and Scott and the kids again (Lori is still a red hot mama.) And making new friends in Beth, Matthew, their girls, and Andy, Hazel, and Angelina was as awesome as I thought it would be. Beth and Matthew and the girls were a delight...I just hope they understood my accent. Andy is as nice in person as he is on this thread, and Hazel is a hoot. She had me laughing all night....well, Angelina helped with that by showing me a funny pic of her mom.And speaking of Angelina, I had the wonderful luck to sit next to her. Andy, she is absolutely a joy to be around. She engaged me in conversation, she looked me in the eye, and she was as sweet as can be. You and Hazel have done a fine job with her.

I think a fun time was had by all.....Can't wait to do it again. I'll post pics in the morning. I have a precious one of Little Buzz Lightyear.

Hello everyone! We had a GREAT time at the DISmeet. As Andy said, even though it was the first time that we had met in person, it seemed like we had known each other for years. Our kids hit it off right away too!

On the way home, I joked with Beth saying that Andy would have pics up before we even get home. I was right! (and video too).

Oh, yeah, I wanted to mention the children. They were so well behaved! We were there quite a while and I swear, I never heard them. The girls all seemed to get along really well--like they had known each other for quite some time, and that little Harrison, well, he is just a heart stealer! I could eat him up with a spoon.

wont be on much today, I'm off now to feetch the robopet once I drop Ellis off at school, then the gym, then prepare for Ellis' friend coming for dinner and play aferschool, I'm in school this afternoon too organising a coffee meeting for the Mums, then taking Ellis to Beavers and dropping his friend off on the way. I might get back on by 10pm

Good morning all. I am very jealous of Andy right now. He's up in the Ramada all tucked in bed sleeping and here I am alone and already awake. YAWN!!!!!!!!
It is all worth it though. We had such a great time. And the kids really were great. All the girls are already trying to make sleepover plans and Harrison was a giggle box as usual.
It really is like sitting down to dinner with people you have known for years. It never felt like it was the first time meeting some of the group. It makes me want Oct. 09 to get here even faster!

Good Morning All.........

Lori, I was awake at 4am, but managed to talk myself into going back to sleep until 5:30!!!!!

I'm trying to be as quiet as a church mouse so I don't wake Hazel and Lina up, they are both still ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZing away!!!

This feels strange, it is now 6am here, and I should be at Riverwinds, will have to make up for it later I guess......

Matt's camera takes much better pics than mine did, the inside group shot was amazing considering how dark it was inside the Outback.

Jay, the manager on duty and the girls who were our servers did an amazing job for us last night. We even told Jay how much we appreciated everything, and he went and got two pins for our servers as a reward for a job well done.

I wish we lived closer to y'all, last night was soooooooooooooooo much fun. Getting together with likeminded Disney people, is a "BLAST!!!!!"

As Harrison would sing, "You've Got a Friend in Me!!!"

Uh Oh Chris, did I miss that post on the thread. Well, I did give Lori a hug before we all departed last night, so that can be a hug from all the BOB'ers!!!

I was telling Paige last night, after driving through that traffic on I-95 going around DC, I decided to go home a different route using 301. I can only imagine what the traffic is like on a weekday in the DC area. Luckily, I've driven been back and forth to Florida many times, so I have learned different routes to take. Using 301 may take a little longer, but heck, we have all day to get home. Lina's cat has plenty of food and water down, she also has the radio on for company and the central air was left on, so we know she is comfy while she sleeps the day away........

I'm trying to be a good boy this morning and not walk over to the Waffle House two doors down from our motel. I think I better grab a Nature Valley bar before I give in to temptation........

Paige, you kill me. You look maahhhhhhhvelous! Everyone looks maahhhhhhhvelous! I'm so glad you guys all had a great evening.

Honestly, I'm so envious that ya'll live close to other DISers and are able to get together and have mini DISmeets. There seem to be very few STL DISers around ... Oh well, with my luck if I came across a Stinktown DISer that person would end up being some kind of psychotic, anti-food, book-hating freak and I'd never want to meet up anyway.

Maybe this summer Jay and I can crash Jeff's 4th of July DIS-Bash ... 400 miles isn't too far to travel for friends and fun, right?

Wish me luck ... this week is going to be an ugly one. Ever notice how that happens the week before you leave on a vacation? Oh well ... we leave for WDW in exactly 10 days!!!

The Wisconsin DISers plan to meet up again on October 25th to celebrate the one year mark. We found a happy medium between the SE Wisconsin DISers and Jen and Janice and are meeting at the Wisconsin Dells. Jeff's family, Cheryl's family and the Tuna and I will be staying at a great hotel with a waterpark on Saturday night and will meet up with Janice's & Jen's families on Sunday for lunch.

Any BOB crashers are welcome!!!

Mmmmmm, waffle house! A guilty vacation pleasure if there ever was one!

Although Jay and I aren't crazy about grits, we love the multitude of ways that Waffle House serves them ... cracks us up everytime we see it!

Smothered .... covered ... scattered ... peppered ... .. diced ... chunked ... topped ... I think I'm going to be sick.
